Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • Is Claire's mother Carole Littleton, who connects Claire to Claire's father Christian Shephard.
    • Is waving while she's floating between life and death, as shown in "Par Avion"
  • This individual will be introduced in Season 4.
    • This still may be true, but the underlying connections are still unclear. In the same way, it could be a character that we already know.
  • He/she might just be flipping a switch as when he/she "waves", a mechanical noise is heard.
  • This person could be Alvar Hanso, Charles Widmore or the mysterious Jacob.
  • Doesn't resemble a character at all. Since it only connects to Jack, Claire and their father, it may be a 'secretive' way of hinting that they are half-siblings.
  • The figure is Grandfather Shephard. Genetically, he is connected to Claire (granddaughter), Christian (son) and Jack (grandson).
  • The figure represents Aaron: he is connected to Claire (Mother), Christian (Grandfather) and Jack ((Half-)Uncle)
  • It's Jacob. Christian Shephard could possibly be related to Jacob, making Jacob a relation to Claire and Jack as well.
