USA
- Instead of having signatures on country pages, we (all of the Users, not just Americans) are going to have templates that state their nationality that can added to their userpage if they wish. Our template can be viewed here and to get it on your userpage just type {{{USA}}}. Thank you for your time and God Bless America.--CaptainInsano
Canon
- A while back I posted a clarification and apology over at the Lostpedia talk:Canon page. Just in case you didn't have that watched, I'm reposting it here.
- Apologies Scott, I'm sorry, that was not my intent, although I can see how it looks like that. My last link was in reference to Kaini apparently lumping me with the noob-unfriendly issue, so I guess I was being defensive as well. We're all here because we're trying to be helpful. I know where you are coming from, you have been incredibly helpful, and your editing I feel has really helped to focus this discussion. Your insights come from a very different set of background knowledge than my own, and therefore you've really made me think on this one. I think no other editor has put as much time into this as yourself, and like you, I believe this policy article is very important to Lostpedia. The complexity and usability issues are just part of the process-- these had never occurred to us before, just as the ideas themselves (about various subtypes of Canon) had never been raised before. These issues do need to all be handled in some way, but we were unaware of these issues at the beginning of this process. Quite simply, this progress of this policy would not be where it was were it not for your efforts. That's what I truly believe. Sincerely -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T16:56, 28 October 2006 (PDT)

No prob. It shortens up that category anyway, which is good. --PandoraX 15:45, 9 December 2006 (PST)
Re:Theories Nav
Sorry to take so long, done those changes now. Regards, --Nickb123 (Talk) 04:56, 4 January 2007 (PST)
EM
- Hey Scott sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, my presence has been a bit minimal of late. Did you get it sorted out? I just noticed in RC that you've been moving stuff around, so hopefully all is well. If you need more help with the EM theory issue, I would also recommend dropping a line to Nick in case I'm not around, since in general I have tended to stay out of the Theory space in LP. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 22:55, 29 March 2007 (PDT)
Plane crash information from "Lost: the answers"
I found it on youtube and very little is actually said:
"That is the definitive answer as to why the plane crashed. The electromagnetic pulse shot out of the hatch, fried the instrumentation on the plane. the plane crashed."
There is a way this can be interpreted that makes it less definitive than it might otherwise seem. If "crash" is defined only as the plane falling out of the sky toward the ground, the loss of avionics and other systems due to electromagnetic effects is minimally valid in that the plane could not continue to fly. That would leave the structural failures, turblance and other effects to be explained by something else. Its not a perfect explaination by any means, but its a way round the problems of associating the structural failure with EMPs or what happened at the Swan. Dharmatel4 14:03, 23 May 2007 (PDT)
