Why are you putting unneeded addition and multiplication tables of the numbers on that page? -- Ramirez Selvarn 14:15, 25 May 2006 (PDT)

Unneeded maybe to you. Sleep on it. --Recurr 14:19, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
Have you read the repeated comments by some of the most knowledgeable users (GodEmperorOfHell, for example) that we don't need to post complicated manipulations of the Numbers? I'm fine with just stating that 4+8+15+16+23+42=108, and 4*8*25*26*23*42=7418880, as both 108 and 7418880 have made confirmed appearances. -- Ramirez Selvarn 14:22, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
I'd like to have it as a reference and would think others would, too. Take a look at the Miscellaneous section. --Recurr 14:25, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
To quote that section, "If you start adding and subtracting the numbers you can make up almost any theory that you want." Also, from the talk page: "I'm trying to point out is that one can arrange prettymuch anything by fitting The Numbers in first and then adding other numbers afterwards. --skks" who's one of the SysOps. Also, in the words of one of the preeminent users and SysOps, GodEmperorOfHell, "it only demonstrates what has already been said, if you manipulate The Numbers any number of times you can demonstrate any theory you want." When 2 SysOps say that kind of thing is unneeded and there's no dissenting voices, I'm inclined to agree with the SysOps. -- Ramirez Selvarn 14:33, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
