bird Q
- Since you may be the person to ask, I have a question. In the scene in "Par Avion" where pregnant Claire visits her mother one last time in the hospital, she turns on the television for her mother. The television shows migratory birds flying in formation. Could you say for sure if this was a clip from the French feature film Winged Migration? If we could ID that clip we could add it to the episode trivia as well as Pop culture misc. references. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 03:44, 17 March 2007 (PDT)
- Under the same category, have you taken a look at Room 23 (mobisode) and the pile of dead birds? Maybe there are some you can identify from this picture for that article (as well as the birds article). -- Graft talk contributions 20:03, 21 March 2008 (PDT)

My bad. I usually check discussion pages for those sorts of things... just didn't occur to me for some reason this time. --Compossible 22:18, 20 March 2008 (PDT)
Omar redirection
I noticed you decided to redirect Omar to Omar (freighter crew) and make Omar a disambiguation page. Was there discussion on this anywhere? I ask because this redirection has a prerequisite and a ramification: the prereqsuitie, that Omar (freighter crew) is the far more important Omar than Omar (Solitary); the ramification, that Omar (freighter crew) be renamed to Omar, as the extra step of redirect is now senseless as Omar is not a disambiguation page. Link duplication
Hi, I noticed your addition of several duplicate wiki links to the Jacob's cabin and Ben articles. A good rule of thumb for how many times to link a duplicate term is once per article subsection (the first time it appears in the section). This makes it easier to read and improves the relevance of each link. Wikipedia has a description of this here. Thanks! -- Graft talk contributions 16:46, 22 March 2008 (PDT)
- Just to note, a consideration sometimes taken at Lostpedia is to allow some duplicates for very long subsections (like on episode synopses and long sections in character articles). In these cases, you could link for example, Jack, say once every three paragraphs or so, factoring in existing link density and paragraph lengths. -- Graft talk contributions 19:11, 22 March 2008 (PDT)
Editing talk pages.
Please do not edit talk pages and comments made by other people, even if you think you are helping, you actually hinder the site and its processes. These comments, rambling or not, are made by other people... and by editing them you could change the essence of what they are saying! Thank you -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 16:52, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
Sparks
I only gave it a quick look but I couldn't find anything inflammatory. Please alert one of the sysops if the situation escalates. If it doesn't, move on with life, there are better things to worry about. Like what we're going to do with ourselves for six weeks with no new Lost. Robert K S (talk) 19:38, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
Theories pages
I'm guessing you moved a bad UQ to a theories page? You may want to review the theories policies... theories should never be phrased in the form of a question and should never be signed. Robert K S (talk) 20:59, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
Spider = Monster???
Hi, Overworkedirish. I saw you updated the Medusa Spider page with the comment from the recent podcast about it being the monster. This seems so strange to me. I started a discussion on the talk page. Would you mind replying there so others can put in their thoughts as well? Thanks! --Michaelisinthecoffin 14:03, 25 March 2008 (PDT)
- Whoops! Sorry, my mistake! Look forward to hearing from you about it, though! 29 more days!!! :) --Michaelisinthecoffin 17:57, 25 March 2008 (PDT)
Character infoboxes
User:Pyramidhead has been futzing with that template. Do me a favor and bring up the issue on his talk page and on Template talk:Infobox Character, would you? Cheers, Robert K S (talk) 17:31, 29 March 2008 (PDT)
US
Hi, you might want to change The U.S. redirect to United States in Lost to a disamb page instead, leaving the option for both in-Lost and real world uses on LP. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 11:03, 1 May 2008 (PDT)
- No worries. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 21:45, 1 May 2008 (PDT)
Removal of Trivia minor edit on Martin Keamy
Overworkedirish, you removed my edit with the following comment:
"...that's so ridiculously irrelevant. IMPERSONATING a mayan demon? come on. apophenia-to-the-max)"
I'll happily acknowledge that it's not the most blinding revelation ever, which is why I placed it in the Trivia section. There are a good few other characters both major and minor in Lost whose portraying actors - whether intentional or not - have had similar situations/backgrounds while playing characters in other TV roles. In case you don't watch SG-1, Go'auld characters essentially are the Gods/Goddesses/Demons they impersonate, and it is well known that an actor's portrayal, on-set comments and previous experience occasionally influence a plot if the director/writers like what they do. I know I'm new here but I think you are being a little harsh, how many 'nods' to other sci-fi shows have we seen so far - Redshirts, anyone?
