Walt does not have special powers. He's just an annoying little kid who was forced into an horrible situation b/c of his mother's death.
With that said....
There are two planes that have crashed on the island and I'm not talking the cessna that the drug runners where flying-but just how did a little cessna make it from Nigeria all the way to Hawawii? Nope, I'm talking about the mysterious flight 280, the orginally flight that everyone got on to and it crashed.

Now I know that there are people out there who say that the producers changed the flight numbers from 280 to 815 because it fits better into with the "numbers". Well guess what people, the numbers are a red herring. They don't have anything to do with anything. They are just thrown in there to mess with your heads.
Ok, with all that being said, I have no idea if the lostaways are alive or dead, or in some kind of limbo, or some kind of matrix multiply reality. But they have to deal with life, death, and the uncertain, no matter what.
