Hello... to answer your question, I saw that someone over at TLEC blog (Speaker's Mother handle, I think) had posted the link over there... I believe Speaker later confirmed it. Take care,
--PandoraX 14:21, 17 June 2006 (PDT)
I have another question actually... been searching around and can't find it. How do you start a new page on lostpedia? I have all 6 accurate transcripts of DJ Dan's stuff, and I can post separate pages for linking to the main page. Thanks.
--PandoraX 15:22, 18 June 2006 (PDT)
Spider protocol
In response to you comment about the spider protocol, its only been mentioned twice, in that letter from Richerdeeperbroader.com, and in the corresponding rachel blake post. If you're going to link to the spider protocol, link here: Retrieversoftruth.com#Hidden Clues. That article has all the information, and you would just be repeating it if an article for it was made. --Phmall 10:30, 21 July 2006 (PDT)
Me again. Yea, I agree to make the spider protocol article, I didnt see rachel blakes new post. --Phmall 15:53, 21 July 2006 (PDT)
Infobox
Hey just looked at your userpage, did you copy and paste mine for the infobox? Doesn't matter too much, you're only like the 5th person to do so lol but could ya please change the pic so its not a complete copy of mine please? Or change the color and font of your name at the top. Thanks, and if its just a coincidence, feel free to tell me off --Nickb123 (Talk) 05:27, 5 August 2006 (PDT)
- Its no problem, I think many peeps think the same thing. I mean its always nice that there's something you've done that people like, its just I like my page to be different ya know. Thanks for being so understanding, and I hope I didn't sound abrupt --Nickb123 (Talk) 05:35, 5 August 2006 (PDT)
Congratulations, You've been promoted to SysOp!
Hello,
I wanted to let you know that some of the other SysOps and I have noticed your work on Lostpedia, especially as it related to The Lost Experience. We believe you will make an excellent addition to our SysOp team!
Thanks, Kevin aka Admin
- Congratulations! Well deserved, you did loads when the Lost Experience was at its peak. Nice that there's a Whedonite on that Sysop team now too! --Nickb123 (Talk) 02:38, 8 August 2006 (PDT)

Can you help me revert a pic please, check recent changes for a station 4 image. It was vandalised and I'm having trouble switching back. Could you just delete all the revisions apart from the first one? --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:45, 8 August 2006 (PDT)
- This is confusin the hell outta me, has it worked and I just can't see it cause of my cache? --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:49, 8 August 2006 (PDT)

Greetings and welcome to the select pantheon of men and women who have trascended this mortal coil. endowed with infinite bannination powers and kewl reverting and move abilities, your duty is to keep the LOSTpedia safe from spammers and vandals, administer swift justice and extinguish flamewars. A great man once said : 'with great power comes great responsibility' and not all is glamour and booty calls in the life of an Almighty Sysop, I'm sure you'll make a great jorb. You are not allowed to have vacations. None of us are. --GodEmperorOfHell 17:59, 8 August 2006 (PDT)

User
You may have noticed we've just had a new user register called Lostpedian. Although its probably a coincidence, a user by the same name was in the past blocked right? Thought I'd just give a heads up on the matter, in case an issue arises --Nickb123 (Talk) 13:40, 11 August 2006 (PDT)

Re:Transcript
Thanks, the last bit is now done too. I'm not doing anymore though now!!! If on Monday there's that one segment left I might do a bit of it, but it really takes it out of you! --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:45, 12 August 2006 (PDT)
- Also, under the DJ Dan Live Broadcast#Transcript_Operation section, could you write a short message please to the effect of "The following users spent a great amount of time yada yada...whilst a mere thank you is never enough yada yada....." - you know what I mean. I feel that someone other than the transcribers should compose this, and as you're the Lost Experience SysOp, I ask you. Thanks in advance --Nickb123 (Talk) 03:26, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
Can we split the poscast further into 3 or even 4 parts? ITs fine to load but when I search for stuff inside of the podcast (ctrl + F) the window freezes up. Both pages are big by any standard. Just me. --

Sorry to step on your toes.
We need a detailed entry on every single website related to LOST, specially the scams. we have a very important presence and surfers looking for more info on these will come to us. I will only tag it as non-canon. Please understand I am not undermining your authority, You know I have nothing bt respect for you. --GodEmperorOfHell 20:39, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
Scam sites
My point is: if we have entries reviewing every faux site it will save our visitors the pain of actually going there. Redirects are not very hot on Google search (We have tried it repeatedly) and we need to be first on searches. Besides, I have always said we are the place for everything LOST. Hansoadoptions, com qualifies as something that was fan-created and anyone who is willing to pay hosting and traffic for a site related to LOST deserves its own entry. And regarding that guy you know I will always stand up for you. :).--GodEmperorOfHell 20:52, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
Meanie...
Aw, you're mean. I was starting to like that Jstohler guy, he said he thinks I'm a model. Plus, he curses you out, which is fun for all. :D --PandoraX 20:58, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
Haha, he can load them if he wants, I'm always up for a good laugh. :) I'll use them on the Selling Out (parody theory) page. On scam sites, I started a thread in the forum about it, but I do see GEOH's point also on google redirection, etc. There are just SO many these days, and I'm not a fan. :) --PandoraX 21:05, 13 August 2006 (PDT)

Ahem... never ban anyone in anger. I myself have banned hundreds (well, most of them were Bob...) and some of the first deserved it because, in my mind, so they would 'respect mah authoritah'. Now I see I could have tried to speak and reason with them. Always assume good faith, as I told PandoraX (one of my favorite people right now) personality alone is not enough grounds for banning. You did it and I will not undo it, I will always support you. --GodEmperorOfHell 21:06, 13 August 2006 (PDT)
Good night all (anyone who comes here to follow the drama) - I hope not to awake to any fires to put out... --Jajasoon 21:11, 13 August 2006 (PDT)

Nah, seriously. This is not the last attack you will get, believe me, it only gets worse. Be cool and everything will turn out to your favor. Meanwhile this person registered again. If anything happens I will try and talk to it. --GodEmperorOfHell 21:15, 13 August 2006 (PDT)

We had another vandal incident. I banned the guys but as you see there's a lot of cleaning up to do. I must go to work now. I'll come back later and see how's everything going. --GodEmperorOfHell 05:21, 14 August 2006 (PDT)
Hey guys, got 2 questions for yas...
1) Is there an easy way of revising picture vandalism? I hit the (rev) link, and it doesn't work, so I've been taking the early image and reloading it.
2) How important is it to write down the last version you've been reverting to? I've just been going one down under Hmm so far, at least he makes it easy. :)

- I am sickened, delete the the middle version, just trust me on this one [[Image:Destinationla.jpg]] --Nickb123 (Talk) 05:52, 14 August 2006 (PDT)
- Can I make a suggestion that when finished, could you please go through every image that was tampered with and make sure they are not only reverted but the old version deleted. I think some are probably...inappropriate (and I'm not checking for you guys, you're sysops, it comes with the territory - just shield your eyes) --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:00, 14 August 2006 (PDT)

- Never mind, the good peeps of insidetheexperience.com say no. Could be one for the future perhaps though --Nickb123 (Talk) 07:31, 25 August 2006 (PDT)
- Nope but I realise now Lostpedia, including Admin, was involved. Probably even you were. The image wasn't a normal upload. User:HACKALLBEER has no mention, but if you go under the logs, he apparently uploaded a picture of the shark, and one of Kate - only he was under the name JohnnyTopper. And on this JohnnyTopper page, nothing.....except on the talk page, a little hey message - from Admin himself! What's goin on with this --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:04, 25 August 2006 (PDT)
- Also, I spoke to the powers that be I think. There was a guy "walt" on there. He kept saying how good it'd be if Rachel put a glyph on Lostpedia. Then when I gave up on the 0X2A he told me "maybe its a clue not the glyph", then he vanished. This whole thing stinks of conspiracy --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:07, 25 August 2006 (PDT)

- Well I know Admin was online around the time of the crime as someone emailed asking about User:RachelBlake and got a reply. Also that he made contact with JohnnyTopper before he was HACKALLBEER. Sounds pretty X-files worthy to me --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:47, 25 August 2006 (PDT)

Forum
Howdy. I'd love to comment on the forum about literary & cultural references, but the freakin' thing won't let me post.
My response to Pandora's note about any book shown or mentioned needing its own page would be to disagree. Any book shown or mentioned should be listed on the Appearance of Literary Works page, and if someone can make useful and intelligent connections (as she did with the Lord of the Flies page) then it should have a page - otherwise it's just a waste of space/bandwidth/etc... and makes Lostpedia look lame.

Template:Locations23
Hello. I see that you have decided to delete Template:Locations23. The reason you gave for the decision was "unused and no point". I wondered if you could elaborate somewhat on the reason. From what I understood, that template was part of the set of templates forming the color scheme in the graphism of Portal:Locations, where the specific function of Template:Locations23 in the set is to be used with those items introduced in season 2 that are likely to be seen, or at least could possibly been seen again in season 3, such as the Pala Ferry, the listening station, Nigeria, the statue, etc. As discussed on the talk page of another template in the same set, if you delete one template in the set, it creates a hole in the Portal's format and wrecks the color code scheme. We can, of course, scrap the current concept of the Portal:Locations page and replace it with another. But it would be better if we knew with what we will replace it before its templates are deleted. Cheers 05:32, 2 September 2006 (PDT)
- Thanks for the reply. Yes, this template will certainly be used when season 3 begins in October (unless the concept of the page gets changed), although we probably will not need it during September. As long as the template doesn't get destroyed in the meantime, everything's fine. Cheers 12:12, 3 September 2006 (PDT)
- Ok, I'll place a link to the page Template talk:Locations3 where the matter was discussed. Cheers 19:22, 3 September 2006 (PDT)

TLE Clues Change
hey, iv been playing aroud with the lost expiriece stuff and i find it frustrating to navigate. I think it would be better to organize the clues by month and headings with the date rather then a page for every day of TLE. Especially if this keeps going for a few more months. what do you think?
Thank you
- Thanks for your efforts on my deluge of recent "capitalization police" templates. That's by no means my focus, but with this recent ABC wiki popping up, I suddenly wanted to fix things, including article bullets-to-prose, and capitalization. Anyways, I understand that someone has to go in and do the fixes (in these cases yourself), and it's a lot of hard work, so I'm saying thanks. --Regards, C¯ _Santa_ ¯T20:47, 13 October 2006 (PDT)

Hey, you
Hi Jaja, how's it going? Wanted to make sure you are aware of the discussion we are having in here: Lostpedia talk:Theory policy. I didn't want you to overlook this conversation, because if something gets implemented, it would change a lot of things around Lostpedia. So far, Admin and others have been pretty supportive, but just wanted to make sure all the active sysops were in the loop on the conversation, even if they disagree, and to put their 2 cents in. --PandoraX 04:49, 7 November 2006 (PST)

- Hey Jaja, glad to see that you are back. Hope you're back for good. Why don't you post about this in the sysop forums? We'll get it worked out, friendly round-table style. Regards, Marik7772003 19:32, 15 March 2007 (PDT)
- Hi Jaja. Nothing to do with you at all, its just to make sure that any dormant accounts aren't left as sysop accounts, for security reasons. It had been a while since you updated, so we removed your sysop status. I have no problem with giving it back but as you know, it has to go to the other sysops before I can do anything! -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 06:15, 16 March 2007 (PDT)
