Discussion (Real world character influences)

Exactly which page are you talking about? And no offense taken at all. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  17:41, 28 June 2008 (PDT)

If you're talking about the Ram Dass page, marking an article for merging is a flag for people to discuss the merging, not to merge immediately. A SysOp will monitor the discussion and then decide when a consensus has been reached. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  17:43, 28 June 2008 (PDT)
No, no, I see what you're getting at. However, I feel that the info should be left on the character pages, because they are, after all, the basis for the character. However, there should be a page, perhaps, for "Real world character influences," or something to that nature. That would be something to be brought up in Lostpedia:Ideas. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  18:20, 28 June 2008 (PDT)
I did so. Also, on one related suggestion, it would be much helpful to your talk page if the infobox thing at the top was moved to another page. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  20:04, 28 June 2008 (PDT)
Haha, it's alright. And okay, g'night! -- Sam McPherson  T  C  20:12, 28 June 2008 (PDT)

Grandmas

That would be an opportunity for comic relief right there. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  15:45, 1 July 2008 (PDT)

Re:Motives

To be honest, if its a well-conceived idea and its well linked to, people will contribute to it. Whenever you make an article that could last, make sure there is exposure (i.e. add it to a nav and hyperlink to and from it as appropriate). You could also ask users to help you with it, but as far as a special "Help me" page, I dunno as at Lostpedia no page is left behind haha (well maybe the orphaned pages). Seriously, if its good stuff, people will help with it.--Nickb123 (Talk) 05:28, 4 July 2008 (PDT)

Changed the Abaddon thing, but note it isn't actually a locked page. --Nickb123 (Talk) 12:10, 4 July 2008 (PDT)

Anagrams

Ah. My mistake. I should have thought it out before restoring that edit. However, I do disagree with you on the overall deletion of the anagrams page. It is a very useful resource, I think. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  13:02, 6 July 2008 (PDT)

Linking

Nice linking of the There's No place Like Home 2& 3 theory content to devoted theory pages. There is so much redundancy in Lostpedia - if only everyone was using links rather than repeating their arguments on multiple pages. Every little bit helps!

Re:User

Thanks, I blocked him. I only did it for a year though, I should have clicked infinite. Oh well, nvm. --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:46, 13 July 2008 (PDT)

Er, I don't get what you mean lol. Run that by me again. --Nickb123 (Talk) 15:33, 14 July 2008 (PDT)

Relevant

Relevant how?--Jim in Georgia Talk Contribs 08:03, 20 July 2008 (PDT)

The theory explains: Shepard's appearance on the freighter, as representative of Jacob, and thus illustrative of Jacob's intent, it explains Michael's purpose and fulfilment of said purpose, furthers Ben's purposes off-island. It also suggests that the freighter explosion and those on board will play a further part in the narrative. These are all relevant questions addressed by the theory. ∇ϕ 04:47, 21 July 2008 (PDT)
