Music
- Thanks very much for updating the task list in Talk:Music! Feel free to do any cleanup or reformatting of the task list as you see fit. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 16:38, 13 September 2007 (PDT)
- Congratulations, I'm giving you a medal well-earned for your hard work. I know you're not quite done with season 3 yet but I have been so impressed by your work already! Feel free to move the entire medal code above to your user page (move not copy). -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 02:07, 28 September 2007 (PDT)
- Yeah, I wasn't sure about how it turned out. I initially wanted to put all songs completely chronologically, and separate the table by seasons, but when I started I didn't account for songs that are repeated in future episodes or seasons. I wasn't sure whether it would be good to have a placeholder (e.g. "see 1x05") for the second or third occurrences of songs, but I did feel a duplicate entry was not a good precedent to set. I'm really happy the numbering is gone, that was a needless pain during editing that added no useful content. I just started with the minimum. For example I didn't add a "Comments" column, so if you feel that is necessary, please go ahead and add it. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 22:21, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
MYOKoM in 2x23
Well, I wish I could take credit for it, but I actually saw it in the trivia at Listening station. I didn't watch the episode to confirm it for myself, but I figured they were probably correct. ;) -- Graft talk contributions 15:19, 15 October 2007 (PDT)
Thanks for adding all those songs
Note that it's good practice to use episode templates instead of episode titles. For example, {{ep|1x01}} yields "Pilot, Part 1". Robert K S (talk) 11:43, 26 March 2008 (PDT)
Stay
Two quick questions. 1) Does it need the stub tag, there's really not much else we can say about the song that's relevant to Lost. It'll be a short article, but I don't think there's anything missing. 2) should it say "record player" I haven't seen the episode in a while, but I always thought it was coming over the radio. Maybe CD player, but I think record player is misleading especially with a link to the record player. --Gluphokquen Gunih ▲ 19:07, 26 March 2008 (PDT)
Music images
Hey, when you upload album covers, could you also place the template {{image|music}} on there, so they will be categorized under Category:Images of music? -- Graft talk contributions 18:33, 28 March 2008 (PDT)
Iraq flag
I noticed you uploaded another image of the Iraq flag. I exchanged it on the Ardulfurataini Watan page with the Iraq flag we already have in order to delete the extra version, but then I noticed they are slightly different. Is it ok if we use the other one we have instead and delete the second one, or do we need the newer, slightly different version for any reason? -- Graft talk contributions 20:48, 28 March 2008 (PDT)
- Done; thanks. -- Graft talk contributions 15:08, 29 March 2008 (PDT)
"Born to Run" and "One of Us"
Hello-
I saw that you created pages for the episodes Born to Run and One of Us. Although these may seem like references to the songs themselves, unless the producers state so in an interview or podcast, it is unknown whether these are references to the songs or not. Instead of creating articles for the songs, go to the episode pages' trivia sections and write an excerpt saying that the episode shares the name of a song.
Thanks. --CTS 15:23, 6 April 2008 (PDT)
- Don't worry, you can have a different opinion :) - We'll see what other users think. --CTS 15:35, 6 April 2008 (PDT)
- Yeah, I think if the articles stay, they should state that it could be a reference. --CTS 15:38, 6 April 2008 (PDT)
Songs (Deletions)
Hello-
I agree that the articles that show speculative theories/relations to episodes should be a cause for deletion. Music/Theories would be a page much more fit for these articles. I'll check out the other pages you listed on my talk page.
Thanks! --CTS 16:04, 8 April 2008 (PDT)
- Thanks for your message, Dreamingtree. The House of the Rising Sun, Ladytron (song) and Purple Haze articles seem fine as those are non-obvious phrases and definite references to the songs. Keep up the great work... Robert K S (talk) 17:53, 8 April 2008 (PDT)
- In the interest of fairness, I typically like to let a different admin perform the deletion when I'm the one to propose it, but since there seems to be consensus in this case and the article author is asking for the deletion, I guess I'll go ahead and do it. Thanks, Robert K S (talk) 11:57, 13 April 2008 (PDT)
Michael Buble
- Thanks for your continuing upkeep of the music article and its related articles. Could you check into "Michael Buble" and the new Lost video? I haven't had time to double check if it is indeed official, but if so, then it belongs in the Promotional section (as per Brian McFadden), and its own standalone article as well. Thanks! -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 01:47, 16 April 2008 (PDT)
RE: Bob Dylan
- Alright, thanks...I'll state that on the talk page! --CTS 16:58, 17 April 2008 (PDT)
Charlie Singing
The Music task list has song charlie's singing in looking glass listed. I don't have my episodes on me right now, but if it's the part i think it is I thought is was something charlie was writing. "This tune, it just came to be, I still need to find the bridge" or something like that. Unless you're talking about a different part of the scene. --Gluphokquen Gunih ▲ 16:30, 16 May 2008 (PDT)
