• Thanks for your help filling out the voice actors article for German. This information is sometimes difficult to obtain, so we appreciate it, as well as any future additions you may make! -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 11:34, 2 July 2008 (PDT)

Re:Mediawiki

Hi, I'm not too sure, my knowledge of Mediawiki is very basic. I will forward your message to Admin though to a direct address so hopefully he'll sort you an update soon. Thanks, --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:51, 14 July 2008 (PDT)

I emailed him about it, so he should have by now contacted you. I have also messaged other SysOps about it, and so hopefully Admin will fix it shortly - but unfortunately only he can. --Nickb123 (Talk) 07:59, 21 July 2008 (PDT)

Renaming Images

Thanks, I did it the hard way. Of course I wasn't talking about doing within the wiki. I'm sure someone with access to the account can execute commands and the (Unix?) command line. Das macht nicht <smile>.--Jim in Georgia Talk Contribs 05:53, 31 July 2008 (PDT)

Korean version of Lost

Guten Tag! -I hope you check this message on day. :)- Unfortunately, the broadcasting station has no consideration for viewers who watch Lost in only Korean Version. Namely, everyone speaks Korean as well as Jin & Sun. So they are featureless in Korean version. Viewers should grasp by themselves. I hope that I've gone a little way to solve your question. Auf Wiedersehen! --Solen 06:54, 1 August 2008 (PDT)

You're always welcome! Sun calls Jin "진수씨(Jin-soo-ssi)". Jin-soo is Jin's first name, of course. And "씨(ssi)" is... I say a kind of honorific. you can use this term, "씨(ssi)", after you call someone's first or last name. (So, it also can be "권씨(Kwon-ssi)".) So, Jin can call Sun "선화씨(Sun-hwa-ssi)" or "백씨(Paik-ssi)", too. right? When "씨(ssi)" is used with one's last name, it's much stiff-mannered. One more thing. Jin calls Sun "자기야(ja-gi-ya)". It means "dear" or "honey". Sun sometimes call Jin "여보(yeo-bo)" and it means same with "자기야(ja-gi-ya)". Ich wuensche dir einen schoenen Tag! =) --Solen 09:59, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
Oh, I'm sorry! I thought that I've left a message on this page before I went to sleep... Maybe I forgot to press 'save' key. I've learned German myself with self-teaching books and dictionaries. I'm so interested in German culture, music, movies, etc... Everything seems so flawless in German to me. I wonder why... :) I still want to study abroad in Germany or Austria. But, tragic. I'm not even adept in English! Sorry I talk with rambling way.. and forgot to leave a message. But I remember I left this message few hours ago... weird! And don't mention about those Korean infos. =) Just tell me when you're curious about some Korean background knowledge! Happy to meet you, anyway. Bye! ^^ --Solen 18:19, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
Danke sehr! Sincerely, thanks for your word that you're gonna help me as well as encouraging me. I guess I'll get to ask you lots of things, you know. =) I wish I could be able to watch Lost in German version someday! Haha. Thanks again, Andre! *.* (Your name is Andre, isn't it.) --Solen 19:04, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
O, my god! Thank you. I couldn't even expect this. Thanks a lot, Andre! Wow... Actually I considered learning German by watching some German drama! I've listened some German songs, too. Just like Wir sind Helden! Wow, I can't wait to see German Lost, thanks!! I'll watch it NOW! --Solen 19:23, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
I have no words to express my gratitude, Andre... I've saved all the English transcripts and read them whenever I'm bored. Now, I got German transcript and enjoy them real pleasantly! Thanks!! And the site you linked, they are just so awesome! Thank you! I'll probably be able to pick some German making a comparison to English one. I am sorry to put you to repeated troubles. I am much obliged to you. Wish I'll reciprocate this all someday.. Thank you! --Solen 19:43, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
Is it bedtime in Germany now? Ja! Gute Nacht!! =) --Solen 19:46, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
As a vacation? I guess... :) It's midday here! Just thank you for keeping your word so fast, haha. Thanks, anyway, a lot! And you know, the dubbing version is real fun! Exotic and amusing! =) Thanks~!! --Solen 20:00, 1 August 2008 (PDT)
Not yet! Anyway, it's being aired real fast in there! Tonight, 4x03 - 4x04 will be aired here, in Korea. Wanna get one? Though, it's so clumsy and awkward! It's so funny to see Des saying "Danke." not "Thank you." =) Have a nice weekend!! --Solen 11:00, 2 August 2008 (PDT)

Hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place ...

But thank you for your help with the sig. =] --BeachBum 20:02, 1 August 2008 (PDT)

Re:Star

Your test pages are a bit weird, create a template and just put all this:

<div style="right:10px; display:none;" class="metadata topicon" id="stern"><div style="position: relative; width: 16px; height: 16px; overflow: hidden"> <div style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; font-size: 100px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 100px; z-index: 3"><span title="Diese Informationen sind höchste Qualität.">   </span></div> <div style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 2"></div> </div> </div> <includeonly></includeonly>

Sorry, my German sucks. --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:39, 3 August 2008 (PDT)

For instance, just make Vorlage:Stern. --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:42, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
Ok then! --Nickb123 (Talk) 14:57, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
Sorry, no idea what is wrong with that, we haven't had any trouble on the English wiki so far. Your URL extension though looks strange, it has ApolloCandy.jpg but then "/180px-....." - that may have something to do with it?! --Nickb123 (Talk) 03:52, 5 August 2008 (PDT)
Its a server side issue. Just change the image's px size in articles to fix it. --Nickb123 (Talk) 06:32, 6 August 2008 (PDT)
Put it as a thumb image with a px of 255. --Nickb123 (Talk) 07:35, 6 August 2008 (PDT)
