Editing articles
Hello! We appreciate your contributions to Lostpedia, but there are some things you need to keep in mind:
- If you intend to edit the whole article, do so by using the top edit button. Not by editing each subheading individually.
- Tick minor edit when appropriate.
- ...and most importantly, use the preview mode before you save the article.
The reason I'm telling you this is because I noticed you recently edited the article Joe Inman saving the article 11 times in 24 minutes, you could have used those 24 minutes editing the article throughly - using the preview and saving it in one go. The Recent Changes list can fill up quite quickly if several people do 10+ edits of one article in a short period of time - which makes the job of a sysop considerably much harder when trying to keep things in check. Thanks and have fun in Lostpedia. --skks 04:51, 27 May 2006 (PDT)
