From Lostpedia
"Discredited Theories If a theory has been discredited due to the revelation of new facts from a reputable source, the theory should be removed from the theories page. If there is need to keep this theory for historical purposes, please place it on the discussion page of the article***."
So please stop deleting the theory until there is a discussion. No matter how far fetched it may seem. Or if you don't believe it. I followed the guide lines for submitting theories. It is not Parody. Sure it might be far fetched, but then again so is the Monster being a nano bot...which was disproven, then removed. So it belongs up there until proven or unproven. Grammar comment
- You're absolutely correct. The blog (and news) is not really the highest priority in a particularly busy spell in my real (non internet) life, so typos and grammar items will slip through. I'm sure you can find plenty more in articles in the wiki, in our forums, and other sites as well. I can find grammar errors on the internet too, but find it to be a fairly unsatisfying activity. If it satisfies you however, I will make a correction. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 00:56, 22 May 2008 (PDT)
Talk page
- On another note, this is your talk page, not your user page. As it is, all talk should not be removed (except archived when full). I'd recommend moving your other content above to either 1) your userpage or 2) a subpage in your userpage space (e.g. User:Ashrawi/pagename]]) -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 00:56, 22 May 2008 (PDT)
RE: Featured Article
Hi Ashrawi! Only two users have voted no for making it featured, which doesn't mean it cannot be featured. If the article gets cleaned up, then maybe some users will renominate it and vote 'yes'. The only reason I voted no was because of mainly the length, but also some of the weak theories that the article presents. The article will probably end up being featured though, since the Monster is such an integral part of Lost's mythology, and it hasn't been explained yet on the show. Thanks for editing, you're doing great! --CTS 20:24, 29 May 2008 (PDT)
Guidelines?
I'm sorry, I didn't realize there were Guidelines. I'm still adjusting to this website. (I found the 'Save Page' button after somebody at work pointed it out to me.)
If you know where the Guidelines are located, could you please direct me to them? Thanx and namasté. 73rd survivor 15:32, 5 June 2008 (PDT)
- Ah; I see. The section about Annie being the smoke-monster was a joke my friend and I came up with, but I'll abandon it. (Unless the producers decide it actually is Annie, and then I will pick it up again.)
- Was the section about the Smoke monster being a security system used to guard Egyptian tombs any good? (If it's feasable, I'll rewrite it following the guidelines. But, aside from the Hierogylphs, there's no proof supporting this idea.) 73rd survivor 13:06, 6 June 2008 (PDT)
Note about Richard in the 50s
Greetings -
I can't really remember writing the text you asked about and you did not tell me what page it was on. It you will give me a page/headline reference, I'll be glad to look at it.
Regards,

Well, I finally got the change notice relating to the page you wrote about on my talk page.
"Likely pre-DHARMA as Richard seemed to recognize the Monster in the 50s before DHARMA had a presence on the island,"
wasn't mine. I think what the guy tried to write was:
"The Monster existed before DHARMA came to the Island because Alpert recognized the imagery in the picture young Locke had drawn before he (Alpert) went to test Locke in the 1950s."
Actually, THAT's a pretty good theory. I'm posting it.

Ahaa. I totally forgot about that drawing. Now it makes a little more sense. Post away! :)
