Theory Policy

Yes a lot of strange things happen in Lost, but that doesn't mean everything belongs in a Theories section. That claim is merely speculation because there is no facts to back it up. READ THE LOSTPEDIA THEORY POLICY.

  Theories and Speculations
Both theories and speculations are coherent statements made in an attempt to explain the events of LOST.
Neither can be treated as canonical until they are presented as a fact by a reputable source, as
described above.
A theory differs from speculation in that it is backed up with logically consistent observations and
facts. Without supporting evidence, statements are merely speculation.
All theories should be presented as statements along with their supporting facts in a == Theories ==
section of an article because of their non-canonical nature. Like facts, theories should never be
presented as rhetorical questions.
All speculations should be made only on discussion or user talk pages.

For your...

  • Information a sysop even asked me to delete it. The producers have already said the show doesn't deal with time travel. Making your theory that deals with time travel... false. Any other questions or comments or directions to a location where you can find common sense?--CaptainInsano 11:32, 19 September 2006 (PDT)
Ohhhh that stupid theory my bad. There have been so many here you sorta lose track. For your information I can't delete, I can nominate them for deletion, but can't delete. Why couldn't it be Rose that Jae loved or that blue shirt girl? You are pulling theories out of thin air with little to no facts to back it up. The only your theory is based on is that Shannon is American. So does that mean I can put a theory that Jae Lee's lover is 3/4 American and 1/4 Cherokee? Have reasonable facts to back up your theories. I don't hate speculation, I hate stupid people.--CaptainInsano 11:49, 19 September 2006 (PDT)

If you have a problem with us keeping Lostpedia clean, then you can take it up with an administrator. Until then, you're outvoted 2-1. --NSHS07 12:12, 19 September 2006 (PDT)

Shannon/Season3

Speculation belongs on talk pages. Please do not post rumor as fact in articles. Please see LP:TP for details on what constitutes an official source. --   Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 16:32, 19 September 2006 (PDT)

Good idea

Discussing Jae Lee in your new article is a much better idea than clogging Shannon's page with it, and your last revision of her page is pretty good. Thanks, no hard feelings I hope --NSHS07 16:59, 19 September 2006 (PDT)
