- Hello, there is a response at my talk page
Re: Article Attack
Thank you very much for the article award on Files.. i have had terrible problems with my internet so i wasn't active here for almost a week.. i also wanted to ask you how do you move and not copy the AAA to the user page from the talk page. Thank you again. Later, -- Steff talk contribs email 09:16, 18 June 2007 (PDT)
- I'm sorry again, but how to move it?, i know only by copying, i don't know the wiki system very well. -- Steff talk contribs email 09:25, 18 June 2007 (PDT)

Magnus Hanso
Hello, tell pleeeease, you know, Magnus Hanso there was on a vessel "Black Rock" when it has got on island, or during this moment it was in the Europe? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Boone (talk • contribs) 07:07, 21 July 2007.
- Hey nick, I referred user:Boone to you since he was asking something about TLE. Btw he's one of our Russian users who has been helping Leafy and I tremendously with our voice actors project. If you ever need clearer translation (I wasn't entirely sure what he was asking about Magnus) you can always ask user:znch who seems pretty fluent. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 04:45, 21 July 2007 (PDT)

Correcting the transcripts
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we've started a discussion at Talk:Portal:Transcripts about what level of revision is acceptable for our transcripts, and how best to deal with the large number of errors in various transcripts. -Silence 19:29, 25 July 2007 (PDT)
Disaster
Hi Nick, you have been a kind soul to me in the past (good ole Sky One forum days) and Im hoping you can help me. I dont know what happened or how, but I was replying to you on the merge of cerberus and the monster pages and the whole bloody thing went when I saved the page. Its all gone, i tried undoing and it wont come back, what's going on? Was it me or is there some other terrible occurence occured?--Hotgirl 15:04, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
Thanks hun, glad to know it wasnt anything I did. I had visions of being asked to not touch another thing here ever lol--Hotgirl 15:04, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
Sorry
- That's my thinking. The Through the Looking Glass archive was 150kb so i think that might have been the problem. I think once the page gets past a certain size it can't edit it, as you said glitches out and blanks it. I can add small pieces of archive but once it gets to big it just blanks it again, so i have to recreate in smaller archives. -Mr.Leaf 15:46, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
- It isn't manually revertible. With the first Through the Looking Glass Archive I was the one who created it and then accidentally blanked it. So I couldn't rollback as I was the only contributer and tried to manually revert and it would show the text in the edit box but if you tried to preview or save (even if you deleted half the content) it blanked it. So it looks like the users are right. Most of our large pages are transcripts I think. I'm gonna take a look at the appearances page because I know that is huge. -Mr.Leaf 15:58, 28 July 2007 (PDT)
- Kevin must have updated or changed something on the server side. Because if you take a look at Character appearances. The warning in the top right now crosses over that line created by the title. I know for a fact I created that warning so it stayed above that line. The position of that line on all the articles seems to have changed so it must be something server side.-Mr.Leaf 16:03, 28 July 2007 (PDT)

- Excellent work with the transcript. You're amazing as always. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 10:38, 29 July 2007 (PDT)
Template:Image
- just thought I would let you know about the new Image template I've created. It makes categorizing images that much easier. To use it for example a TLE image type {{img|TLE}} and you can add up to 5 cats with one template using keywords. IE {{img|Jack|Kate|3x21|animal|weapons}} and add a second template if you need more then 5 cats. Let me know if you have any questions. -Mr.Leaf 13:45, 29 July 2007 (PDT)

Season 4 Writing Contest
- Hello there. Would you be able to move Season 4 Writing Contest to Lostpedia:Season 4 Writing Contest, please, as that seems to be the general consensus here? Thanks a lot. (Note: I was referred here by Santa.) -- Lost Soul talk contribs 01:41, 1 August 2007 (PDT)
Comic Con Audio
- Hey, thought I would let you know, ABC released the 52 minute audio from the comic con. http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/podcast. Have fun if you want to transcribe the parts you missed. :) -Mr.Leaf 19:56, 2 August 2007 (PDT)
- I've added all that I can at the moment, and I am 99% sure it was Gainey not Goodman (Pryce) just by the sound of his voice. I'd ask Santa to take a listen, he can likely identify those voices better then I can. As for the Eddie/Adam which one is which I cannot tell you atm. I would have to pull out my Season 1 dvds and compare the voices on there to the podcast which I do not have time for at the moment. If Santa can't help you let me know and I take another look at it when I get back (Aug 18). -Mr.Leaf 18:08, 5 August 2007 (PDT)
Rousseau's maps etc.
Hello, Nick. My reason for nominating for deletion redirections that comprise spelling errors or typos (on the condition, of course, that they have no relevant page history, such as an old "merged" article) is that we're trying to have articles that are free of spelling mistakes or typos. When reading a page, spelling errors that occur in a linked text are harder to spot when the link looks valid (blue), because the eye and mind tend to parse and interpret the text as valid, whereas errors can be spotted and fixed quickly and efficiently when their true nature is readily visible as a red link. A redirection wrongly spelled "Rosseau" (versus the actual page name "Rousseau") serves no useful purpose at all. Quite the contrary, its sole effect is a harmful one, by interfering with the effort to fix errors in articles. In a case like this, "Rosseau" is not an alternate spelling or an alternate name (which would justify a redirection page), not anymore than for example, "Machester", "Munchester" or "Manchister" would be an alternate spelling for "Manchester". It is just a typo. Generally, the above is true of any redirection for which the only difference with the actual page name is a spelling error. Typos and errors should be fixed, not vaguely camouflaged. -- Cheers (talk) 18:13, 3 August 2007 (PDT)

Alvar video
- Now that is very interesting. Thom Sherman does not seem to deny that the man was from the archival footage. I always thought Lost's CG dep't superimposed him into there, but perhaps he was in the original video! Now I want to find the original archival video. But from the sounds of it, it is suggested that Lost didn't put Alvar into the video, but there was already a man in the video. Very cool. BTW why don't we have an article for Sherman? -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 23:18, 12 August 2007 (PDT)
Thanks
- Ya, it was good. Definitely good to get away from a computer for 2 whole weeks (amazing isn't it?), its gonna be tough getting back into my groove editing now though. Me and marik are in chat if you want too.-Mr.Leaf 11:29, 20 August 2007 (PDT)

It looks like user Odibo exists only for the spam on their talk page = a link to what is apparently a Swedish domain name registrar and web host. --Doc 11:53, 24 August 2007 (PDT)

Yeah, I did. It's funny, I thought my wrist would lessen my Internet time, but I can't play spoprt or anything so I'm spending more time inside. --Blueeagleislander 01:14, 3 September 2007 (PDT)
Awards
Now that the nominations for the 2007 Emmys have been added to the table, should the article lose it's rewrite banner as the reason for it being there is "This page needs: 2007 Emmy nominations to improve it"? Thanks for the fix, I feel really stupid for not noticing the } --random2502 15:33, 3 September 2007 (PDT)

Cool, I'm going to finish off the clues by day thing. It gives people an opportunity to follow it in a couple different ways. The text on the two approaches can overlap and we'll link them. But I'm off for now, ttyl. -Mr.Leaf 12:57, 1 January 2008 (PST)
Hey
Hi Nick, nice to see you back around! Im sure your extremely pleased with Find 815! --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 13:19, 1 January 2008 (PST)
- Hell Yeah! Ive been pining for a new Lost Experience all of 2007 lol. My internet only got was down for a few weeks recently as well and only got back yesterday, I could have missed it! Hopefully we will learn quite a bit from Find 815, (is that the official name of one we are currently calling it?) --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 13:22, 1 January 2008 (PST)
- Agreed, would have expected at least a little promotion, then again they know sites like this will do it for them, clever really. Can that "Matthew" clue be used anywhere on find815 yet? I havnt found anywhere i can enter it. --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 13:41, 1 January 2008 (PST)

Hey Nick sorry if this seems a stupid question but how did you find out that the site [Find 815] will keep running for 8 weeks after the Season 4 premiere? Thanks--Lewis-Talk-Contribs 06:15, 2 January 2008 (PST)
- Haha ok, just a little point as well, where is Speakers page now with this video? I go to insidetheexperience.com and it hasnt been updated in months --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 06:40, 2 January 2008 (PST)
- Excellent, thank you very much --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 06:50, 2 January 2008 (PST)
Opinion?
Hi Nick, I've just made a couple of articles based on archiving the information we have collected specifically, see Find 815/Sams telephone messages and Find 815/Sams e-mail system, I just wanted your opinion on whether they would be of any use to add to the Find 815 Nav? Under an analysis/archive heading or something? Thanks --Lewis-Talk-Contribs 07:59, 3 January 2008 (PST)
