Hello! I have several theories that are too out there for me to put on any actual page, so I will put them here. Please feel free to discuss them with me!

  • I have a theory that Persephone is really the black smoke/security system/monster on the island. I got this idea from the Peter Thompson reveal on the Hanso webpage, the black smoke comes down to reveal Persephone's information, and at the end "she" says something like "I have worked for bad people, and I always will." It's the "always" that got me-- a human would have a choice, if a human felt so bad about working for a bad corporation she could quit. If Persephone is a monster/electronic creation created by the company for some unknown purpose, then it would explain how she is able to hack both the phone system and the web page, and know a lot about every major player at Hanso. It would explain why she is so sure she will "always" work for Hanso. The black smoke seems to know a lot about the people it "inspects", maybe this psychic ability translates to anyone Persephone wants to find out about. --NewLostie 20:21, 22 May 2006 (PDT)
