I am LJB4815162342 (LJB my initials, 4815162342 are these numbers from some show). I'll be honest, I don't do so much around here anymore. Still, my fugly user page annoyed me so I prettied it up a little.

My feelings for Charlie confuse me (I mean as in do I like him or not, nothing romantically). Didn't like him so much in Season One, grew on me slightly in Season Two then I actually kinda liked him in Season Three - not to the extent that I was deeply saddened by his death or anything. To be honest, I believed after Season One he had kind of outlived his usefullness. The fact Charlie had such sucky flashbacks (though Greatest Hits was okay) also made me somewhat biased towards him. And British people do NOT talk like that all the time!

Yyyaaawwwnnnn. Claire bores me so much. In my opinion, she could have stayed a Rose-like character - a guest star who only appears every so often. I realise she has a baby, but still, I wish there was some kind of developments with her character. The attempt to spruce up Claire with the whole Jack-Claire siblings plot is too soap-opera for me.
D E S M O N D
I personally cannot see why Desmond is so popular According to Mr. Crabby's Cool People page (which can sum up my whole userpage in two cells), Desmond is the overall favourite character. In 'Man of Science, Man of Faith', 'Adrift' and 'Orientation', he was interesting. Then, in 'Live Together, Die Alone', he got slowly duller. I really didn't like the off-island stuff (other than the Libby meeting), due to the fact it's just soppy. I don't like soppiness (which I don't think is a word but who cares?) in Lost. And the soppy Desmond/Penelope plot, I didn't like. So this plot that I didn't like became the plot that motivated Desmond the entire Season Three - which really knocked Desmond down in my book. I rank 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' one of the worst episodes. I didn't find it confusing, I understand it fine (or so I think) - it's just that it was a half-hour of Desmond, and nothing BUT Desmond. </rant>

Eh. I don't really have an opinion on Eko. When the tail-enders arrived, I immediately liked Ana-Lucia and Libby. Eko kind of passed over me. I did enjoy 'The 23rd Psalm', but I really disliked the '?' flashbacks. 'The Cost of Living' also just washed over me. The only part of that episode that really sticks out is the Juliet video tape scene.

Jack is the show's main character to the extent that it annoys me. Jack has by far the least interesting back story of the main cast, yet continues to to the protagonist, with flashback episode after flashback episode. I really don't care about how he deals with his divorce, or how he got his tattoos (really, why was that hyped up as a mystery?). Perhaps if he didn't get all these flashbacks (and the character himself wasn't such a control freak), I may be a bit more tolerant towards him.

Sometimes I hate Jin. Sometimes I like Jin. 'Pilot' to 'Exodus'? Hated. 'Exodus'? Liked. 'Adrift' to 'Abandoned'? Didn't care. 'Collision' to 'Maternity Leave'? Liked. 'The Whole Truth'? Hated, then liked. 'Lockdown' to 'Live Together, Die Alone'? Didn't care. 'The Glass Ballerina'? Hated. 'Tricia Tanaka is Dead' until right now? Liked. Angry!Jin I don't like. Happy!Jin I do.

Kate would be next in line for the top eight should that ever fall apart. I enjoy her backstory, and have enjoyed all her flashbacks (Whatever the Case May Be being the worst). She has gone down a little in my estimation in Season Three however - I'm not really a shipper so her getting together with Sawyer wasn't really that exciting to me. Plus she was a bitch in 'The Brig' when she told Jack about Naomi.
L O C K E
Locke was in my favourite characters for a long time. However, this new 'I-don't-want-to-get-off-this-Island-so-I'll-destroy-everybody-else's-chances-of-rescue-as-well' Locke really bugs me. And he killed Naomi! I was expecting her to be a regular in Season 4, and I actually wanted to know more about her. Still, Season One and Two Locke ranks high in my mind, but Season Three Locke doesn't.
