Scouting refers to any of the many youth organizations around the world that sprang from Robert Baden-Powell's Scouting for Boys in England. Scouting employs camping as a means of teaching and recreation, and many survival skills used on the Island are common Scout knowledge. Scouting is represented in the home country of every character on Lost, with a branch just recently restarted in Iraq.
