LOST Countdown

About The Program

LOST Countdown, is a program that simulates The Swan's countdown.

Why use this program compared with the other versions?

  • This version is made for any version of Windows, unlike others which are suitable only for Mac.
  • This program doesn't need any other software to operate.
  • This program includes animation and actual effects of not entering the code and sticks to the real failsafe and system failure routines as compared with other versions, which might be limited.
  • The program contains brilliant graphics (Skia.net) and included a Help (Orientation) file so any questions you have might be answered with out research, we (DGee Soft) offer full email support (DGeeSoft@live.co.uk)

The Program isn't yet online for download due to a number of reasons:

  • No one has offered to host it, and we are currently trying to set up our own server.
  • Sound Fxs are yet to be added.
  • Options need to be perfected.
  • Installation must be perfected.
  • Random messages such as "Dad?", are to be added.

The Program is made from scratch, par imagery. The program is currently being tested for glitches.

Interesting Features

  • Animation on Failsafe,
  • Animation on System Failure
  • System Failure displayed on monitor during System Failure.
  • Animation on Change of visible time, on Clock.
  • Screen On/Off colour change
  • Flikering ">:", on screen, which follows text.
  • Animation Power Surge
  • Magnetic screen top left corner
  • Click-drag windows
  • Breakable monitor
  • Option for Failsafe

Namaste

Shaking

In both episodes; Tale of Two Cities and The Shape of Things to Come, shaking or the [barracks], can be seen.

The shaking created and shown in both these episodes is one of a powerful earthquakes scale, as it has the ability to shake the ground and structures built upon it.

In Tale of Two Cities Juliet is having a book club meeting, whilst all of a sudden it is interupted by the shaking of the house. One is left to question what caused the shaking in the first place, as we know it caused or was focused on Flight 815, however what made the transition from air to ground? We also are left to wonder if it was electromagnetism, as we know that the plane wasn't very magnetic as when Jack tries to break through the wall in the swan, Sayid comments that the titanium is of a low magnetism, we also see that nothing inside or outside the house is effected by the magnetism, other by the plane, and during system failure, before failsafe, the ground never shakes on the beach.

We know from The Shape of things to come, that Ben, somehow summons the 'monster' to clear the way for them as they escape into the jungle. Immediatly before this the house starts shaking in a violent manner as well. We know that it was the monster that caused this shaking so did it cause the crash?

We know, as it has been debunked that the monster did not blow up the engine of the beach, however picture this:

  • Ben can summon the monster, what would you do if you discovered you had a spinal tumour? Get a surgeon?
  • The noises of the crash are described as Metallic groaning, as are the noises that the monster makes.
  • Although it is common in a crashing or broken plane, there was a trail or cloud of black smoke from the right engine.

All of these things help to conclude to a degree that maybe the monster caused the crash of Flight 815.

My Theory on the Island and Bagua

  • When overlaying both a bagua image, and the map seen in Lockedown by arranging the Flame station, with the Fire labeled section of the bagua symbol, many other themes set the same. For instance The Staff Station , is labeled "Mother", the area of the "Swan" is labeled "Family/Past", and also other sections like "Spirtiuality",which lay other the pearl stations area, may be linked to when Locke saw the message on Eko's stick or may be linked to the Temple, and other sections like creativity, carreer, children and future may line up with The Others' Barracks. And finally the Yin-yang sign lines up with the ?, suggesting that the ? may be a place of a mixture of energies, possibly "The Line" in the jungle. As well as all this the bagua map includes compass bearings (North South East and West) and possibly the area which holds the 3 broken lines (☷) may be the way to exit the island, in the same context the station with the white belt on its logo, which strangly looks like a "No entery sign", may mean that that directions isn't the way off the island, this has 3 solid lines on the Bagua map (☰). Notice as well how the west and east directions are inverted much like on The Maxwell Groups, logo. Also in many of the Wizard of Oz books, the East and West positions are inverted, we know that this book is a popular theme in the show, and might of offered inspiration to the writers.--David Gee 06:34, 27 January 2008 (PST)David Gee

The Numbers Are Shifting Theory

Next time you are watching Lost, see how many times the number 7, and other numbers are used. Due to the implosion of the hatch, The Valenzetti Equation may of changed due to a huge factor disappearing, the electromagnetism. Since the numbers are changing, the luck is changing for the islanders and for the others, hence potential rescue, life (not death) and Hurley not having the curse.

Minor Triva/Theories

  • The Temple is a DHARMA Station, it acts as the 'big box'. It has great significance to both the hostiles, Jacob and DHARMA. DHARMA studied its ability to create anything or transport anything.

The Temple in The Orchid, hence the rabbits, the box recreates something already in exhistance, but those two things must never meet, like the back to the future idea, of the universe instantly exploding. This explains how Ben can generate so much money. The hostiles used the Temple, as a temple. The Temple offers a sanctuary as it is the way the others leave the island so quickly.

  • If Penelope didn't hire the Naomi's boat, then why was she sitting, sending out her video channel to that specific line (The Looking Glass), which didn't exhist until the blocker was turned off.
  • As an interesting similarity, Locke is seen looking down into the hatch at the end of season 1. The hatch later is destroyed. In The Man From Tallahassee, he is seen looking down into the submarine in a similar manner as the hatch scene. The submarine is also later destroyed. Both of these were caused by Locke's hand. Another time Locke is seen with the same camera angle, looking down, is when Desmond goes under the floor in The Swan to trigger Failsafe, this also is a form of destruction. Oppositly, Juliet when exiting the submarine, peers up in the directly opposite manner as compared to locke, this may be due to both Locke's and Juliet's different view, spirtiaul/connections to the island etc. {{User:David Gee/autosig}} 07:11, 2 February 2008 (PST)
  • Bens man on the boat was and is Brandon, he wanted to 'see' the island. We know that people like Christian Shepard are dead off the island, maybe when the medical room door opened, and no one saw , it was because the person who opened it wasn't really there. Just as they don't know who destroyed the control room.{{User:David Gee/autosig}} 22:41, 2 March 2008 (PST)
  • The plane exhists in two places due to crossing the time barrier, in a simular way of how Desmond's mind drifts in time. This explains the two rabbits, a bit like the "Back To the future" event where if two of the same thing meet one each other, then it causes catastrophic events. The magnetism pulled the plane down quick enouhg to copy the people on the plane, while getting off the island is hard and affects the mind (sideaffects). This explains why the plane was found and why the people are found dead on the aircraft.{{User:David Gee/autosig}} 22:41, 2 March 2008 (PST)
  • A painting of a woman who looks similar to Emily is briefly seen in Roger's and young Ben's barrack. In the painting she's holding a rodent-like creature that may be a hamster, or even a Rabbit
  • Metaphorically speeking - Ben tells Locke "Sorry you're too blind to see", here we see how Locke has forgotten to open all his sences to the Island. (Scene with Jacob). {{User:David Gee/autosig}} 07:23, 2 February 2008 (PST)
  • If Locke looked into the eyes of the island and saw its beauty why does he still call it a monster? Is this why jacob wouldn't appear to him?
  • [Richard Malkin] is ben's man on the freighter.
  • Christian Shepard is the son of Jacob, making Aaron his great-great grandchild like in the bible. Aaron doesn't have a prominant father in the bible neither in LOST.
  • The others are looking for a special child/person ie Walt Aaron or Locke.
  • Christian Shepard is one of the hostiles, and can live forever, but died off the island due to the amount of time he spent off of it.
  • Why are the family of Jacob all on the island ie Christian, Jack, Aaron and Claire.
  • On the freighter there is space for only one helicopter, and when michael first gets on the boat there is only one helicopter, ontop of this Frank Lapidus, says that he is the chooper pilot, inpling the only chooper pilot, so where did Naomi's helicopter come from?   >: David Gee    Communicate   Flashback

Simularities with The Swan

  • The ship is old fashioned, like the swan.
  • The ship's siren is simular to that of the swan, including the speakers.
  • The blood on the wall in the cabin, probably caused by a sucide, is much like that in the hatch.

Ghost Wall theory

  • In The economist, a deleted scene, shows Miles listens to the fence. We know/think that Miles can talk to and hear spirits (Confirmed Dead) by the way he speaks to the boy in the room, and Naiomi. We also know that 'the monster', before killing Eko judged him (the camera went throught the smoke, and his life could be seen), maybe the fence emits some - sort of life/death barrier, hence the reason why Miles can talk to it and why the monster can't past it. {{User:David Gee/autosig}} 04:19, 18 February 2008 (PST)

Time theory

  • If the helicopter burned up more fuel due to some sort of time distortion on the island, is this why Rose hasn't died from her Cancer? Also if the helicopter took longer to get to the island, as did the beacon, then how does Penny speak to Charlie while in the looking glass, at the same time (without any time distortion), how does the plane crash at the same time as the pearls records state the time of the system failure? Also this time distortion might explain why it took so long for people to start looking for the Losties. Also the hostiles don't age so maybe the time distortion affects them more. {{User:David Gee/autosig}} 04:40, 18 February 2008 (PST)
