1. Locke - Has always been the best character ever since the final flashback scene in "Walkabout"
2. Ben - I never really thought he was "Henry Gale"
3. Desmond - What can I say, brother.
4. Jacob - We havn't seen much of "him" but from what we've "seen" he's great!
5. Hurley - Can you imagine Lost without Hurley?

I don't know why people dislike "S.O.S.", I could easily think of worse episodes("Stranger in a Strange Land" for one), I found it interesting to find out about Rose and Bernards past; it wasn't a filler episode, this episode saw the return of Michael ready for his shocking betrayal in "Two for the Road".
