Trucker was one of the captives during the bank robbery in Kate's flashback. He successfully disarmed one of the robbers, but chose the wrong ally in Kate, who was in on the plot. He managed to get the gun to Kate and shouted for her to shoot them (seeming to disregard that Kate would probably be shot too considering she was outnumbered). Kate pretended she didn't know how to work a gun or turn off the safety. The trucker was then overpowered and beaten by the robbers.
