Day 41 - Monday, November 1, 2004
- Locke and Boone find the Beechcraft.
- Boone speaks to Bernard and the other tailies via the radio in the Beechcraft just before the plane crashes to the ground.
- Ana Lucia believes Boone is one of the Others and shuts off the radio.
- Eko breaks his silence to comfort Ana Lucia.
- Locke carries Boone back to the caves, tells Jack that Boone fell off a cliff, then goes to bang on the Hatch in despair.
- Desmond contemplates suicide and discovers Penelope's letter inside his Our Mutual Friend. He hears Locke banging on the Hatch and he shines a light up the shaft to investigate. The light inspires Locke, and Desmond realises the outside world hasn't been destroyed (by the system failure).
- Jack fails to save Boone's life, and realizes Locke lied about the cause of Boone's injuries.
- Claire gives birth to Aaron.
Day 42 - Tuesday, November 2, 2004
- Jack tells Shannon that Boone has died, and blames Locke.
- Locke appears at Boone's funeral. Jack attacks Locke, claiming he could have saved Boone's life if Locke had told the truth.
- Shannon steals a gun from the gun case and tries to kill Locke, but Sayid stops her.
- Sayid interrogates Locke about the Beechcraft and confiscates the Nigerian smuggler's gun from him. Sayid demands that Locke take him to the Hatch.
- George W. Bush is re-elected as President of the United States. (off-Island event that Ben is aware of, and later shows Jack on the Hydra television).
Day 43 - Wednesday, November 3, 2004
- Sayid takes Jack to the Hatch.
- Arzt warns Michael that it is nearly the Monsoon season and the raft has to be launched as soon as possible.
- Sun and Kate try to make Jin sick by poisoning his water. Sun wants to stop him risking his life on the raft, Kate wants his place on the raft.
- Arzt confesses to Michael that he made up the monsoon season story to get them to launch the raft as soon as possible.
Day 44 - Thursday, November 4, 2004
- Rousseau warns the survivors that the Others are coming.
- Hurley and Rousseau are taken to the Hatch.
- Jack organizes an expedition to the Black Rock to get dynamite to blow open the Hatch.
- Walt gives Vincent to Shannon, to take care of her. She promises to look after him until he gets back.
- Jin and Sun reconcile when she hands him a notebook with korean-to-english translations and pronunciations to help him communicate with Michael, Sawyer, and Walt. They apologize to each other, make amends, and Jin boards the raft, telling her he must do this to save her.
- The raft is launched.
- Arzt blows himself up.
- Rousseau kidnaps Aaron; Charlie and Sayid set out to bring him back.
- Locke is nearly pulled underground by the Monster. He tells Jack that he believes they were all brought to the island for a reason, and that Boone's death was "A sacrifice the island demanded" as part of a test.
- Hurley discovers the Numbers inscribed on the the Hatch. He tries to put out the fuse, but. Locke blows up the Hatch.
- the Others shoot Sawyer, kidnap Walt, and destroy the raft.
"Man of Science, Man of Faith"
- Shannon pursues Vincent into the jungle. She sees Walt, soaking wet. He whispers something then disappears.
"Adrift"
- Kate and Locke enter the Hatch. Desmond takes them captive.
- Desmond makes Locke enter numbers into the Swan computer.

- Michael and Sawyer float on wreckage from the raft; Jin disappears. Sawyer pulls the bullet out of his shoulder.
Day 45 - Friday, November 5, 2004
- The Swan computer is shot. Desmond is unable to repair it and runs away.
- Sayid fixes the Swan computer. Locke and the survivors take over entering the numbers.
- The tail-section survivors find Jin and tie him up, but he manages to run away.
"Adrift"
- Sawyer and Michael wash ashore and see Jin running from the tail-section survivors. All three are captured and put in the Tiger Pit.
Day 46 - Saturday, November 6, 2004
- Michael, Sawyer and Jin are let out by the tail survivors and are taken to the Arrow bunker.
- Hurley and Rose catalogue the Swan bunker food and arrange a feast for the survivors.
Day 47 - Sunday, November 7, 2004
- The tail-section survivors set off to join mid-section survivors.
- Michael runs off to look for his son on his own. Jin and Eko go after him.
- Jin and Eko hide from group of people (presumably the Others, one of them a young child carrying a teddy bear) passing by.
- Jin and Eko convince Michael to come back with them.
- Shannon sees another vision of Walt, this time in her tent.
- Eko, Michael and Jin catch up with Ana-Lucia.
Day 48 - Monday, November 8, 2004
- Shannon and Sayid see Walt in the jungle.
- Cindy vanishes without a trace. The tail survivors are spooked by the whispers.
- Shannon pursues Walt and is shot dead by Ana-Lucia.
- Eko carries Sawyer to the Swan. Michael finds Sun and is taken to the Swan.
- Ana-Lucia ties up Sayid and ponders killing him out of self-protection, but eventually decides to let him go.
- Michael, Jin and tail survivors are reunited with the fuselage survivors. Jack meets Ana-Lucia in the jungle.
Day 49 - Tuesday, November 9, 2004
- Shannon is buried.
- Eko shows Locke the Bible containing the missing film splice.
- Kate and Jack's first kiss.
- Kate wonders if Sawyer is possessed by Wayne Janssen. They both see a black horse outside the Swan.
- Michael receives a message on the Swan computer, apparently from Walt.
"Exposé"
- Paulo hides the diamonds in the Pearl toilet. He overhears Ben's plan to make Jack perform surgery, and takes a walkie left behind by Ben or Juliet. Paulo doesn't tell anyone about the walkie or Ben's plan.
Day 50 - Wednesday, November 10, 2004
- Michael secretly communicates with someone claiming to be Walt using the Swan computer.
- Charlie takes Eko to the drug smugglers plane. Eko faces the monster, cremates Yemi inside the plane, and decides to behave like a genuine priest.
- Claire shuns Charlie because he (apparently) lied about being off heroin.
Day 52 - Friday, November 12, 2004
- Michael is captured by the Others.
- Kate is captured by the Others.
- (Night) Jack, Locke and Sawyer encounter the Others. Tom swaps their guns for Kate, and orders them to stay on their side of the line.

- Mikhail's birthday.
Day 53 - Saturday, November 13, 2004
Day 54 - Sunday, November 14, 2004
- Michael is taken to the Others' decoy village. Ms. Klugh questions him about Walt.
Day 55 - Monday, November 15, 2004
- Charlie asks Locke to put in a good word for him with Claire, insisting he isn't using drugs.
- Charlie talks to Eko about his dreams, and decides that Aaron needs to be baptized.
- Locke confiscates Charlie's heroin stash.
- (Night) Charlie snatches Aaron and tries to baptize him in the sea. Locke takes Aaron back and punches Charlie 3 times.
Day 56 - Tuesday, November 16, 2004
- Eko baptizes Claire and Aaron.
- Locke puts the heroin in the Swan's vault and changes it's combination.
Day 57 - Wednesday, November 17, 2004
- Jack and Locke put the handguns in the Swan's vault.
- Hurley asks Sayid to try boosting the performance of the Tailie's radio.
- Sawyer takes possession of all the guns; he uses a Long con that involves Charlie faking an abduction attempt on Sun.
- Sayid and Hurley listen to a broadcast from radio station WXR.
Day 58 - Thursday, November 18, 2004
- Rousseau captures Ben and hands him over to Sayid. Ben claims to be Henry Gale, a balloonist who crashed on the island. Sayid interrogates Ben with his fists.
- Locke prevents Jack stopping the interrogation, until he has to go and enter the numbers.
- Locke witnesses the initial stages of a system failure.
- Sawyer finds out about Hurley's food stash and blackmails him into searching for an annoying tree frog. Sawyer kills the frog.
- Aaron develops a rash and fever; Claire fears it's the Sickness.
Day 59 - Friday, November 19, 2004
- Claire starts remembering events from her kidnapping. With Kate and Rousseau she retraces her steps to the Medical Station, hoping to find medicine for Aaron.
Day 60 - Saturday, November 20, 2004
- It is Rose's birthday.
- Ana-Lucia convinces Ben to draw a map that would prove his cover story. She conceals the map from Locke and Jack.
- Sun finds out that she is pregnant.
- Ana Lucia, Sayid and Charlie follow the map to check Ben's story.
Day 61 - Sunday, November 21, 2004
- Ana-Lucia, Charlie and Sayid find the clearing on Ben's map.
- Sun tells Jin that she is pregnant.
- Ben starts playing mind-games with Locke and Jack.
"Lockdown"
- Ana-Lucia, Charlie, and Sayid find Henry Gale's balloon and a grave containing the real Henry Gale's body and ID card.
- Locke is cut off from the Swan computer when the blast doors come down. He agrees to protect Ben in return for help. Locke gets trapped under one of the doors, so Ben climbs through the ventilation system to get to the computer.
- Jack wins the medical supplies back from Sawyer in a poker game.
- Locke sees the blast door map.
- Jack and Kate find a DHARMA supply drop.
- Ana-Lucia, Charlie, Sayid, Jack and Kate confront Ben with Henry Gale's ID card.
Day 62 - Monday, November 22, 2004
"Dave"
- Hurley destroys his stash, then finds out about the supply drop. "Dave" tries to convince Hurley that the island is all a delusion, and urges him to commit 'suicide' to break out of it.
- Ana-Lucia prevents Sayid from shooting Ben.
- Libby convinces Hurley that the island is real, and kisses him.
- Ms. Klugh lets Michael see Walt. Walt tells Michael the Others, "Are not who they say they are... they're pretending". In return for Walt's freedom and a boat, Michael agrees to free Ben and lure Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sawyer to the Others' camp.
Day 63 - Tuesday, November 23, 2004
"S.O.S."
- Bernard attempts to build a huge SOS sign but gives up after Rose tells him that the Island healed her cancer and she is afraid to leave.
- Locke tries to sketch the blast door map from memory.
- Jack and Kate go to the line to try and arrange a prisoner exchange (Ben for Walt). Instead of the Others they find Michael.
Day 64 - Wednesday, November 24, 2004
- Ben attacks Ana-Lucia. Locke knocks him out.
- Ben tells Locke he was coming for him.
- Jack and Kate bring Michael into the Swan.
- Ana-Lucia has sex with Sawyer and steals his gun. She plans to kill Ben but cannot do it.
- Libby goes to the Swan for picnic blankets.
- Neil 'Frogurt' tells Hurley that he is interested in Libby.
"?"
- In a dream/vision Ana-Lucia tells Eko to help Locke, and Yemi tells him to find the 'Question mark'. Eko makes Locke take him to the '?' on Locke's sketch of the blast door map, which turns out to be the same location as the Beechcraft.
Day 65 - Thursday, November 25, 2004 (Thanksgiving Day, USA)
"?"
- Following Locke's dream, Eko and Locke discover the Pearl. The Pearl orientation video causes Locke to lose faith in entering the Numbers, but inspires Eko to take over the task.
- Libby says "Michael" just before she dies; but Jack and Hurley misinterpret this as concern.
- Michael returns to the beach camp. He tells Sun that Libby and Ana Lucia "were murdered".
- Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Michael prepare weapons for a mission to rescue Walt.
- Eko abandons the church and moves into the Swan to start entering the Numbers.
- Vincent brings Charlie to Sawyer's stash with the last of the Virgin Mary statues (heroin). Charlie throws them into the ocean.
- Sayid warns Jack that Michael is leading them into a trap.
- During the funeral for Libby and Ana-Lucia, Hurley decides to join the mission to rescue Walt.
- After the funeral Sun sees a sailboat coming towards the beach.
- Jack, Sayid and Sawyer swim to the sailboat and find Desmond onboard. Desmond claims to have been sailing due west from the Island for 2 weeks and that the Island is a 'snowglobe' with nothing left outside.
- Sayid devises a plan to evade the Others' trap.
- Locke tries to stop Eko entering the Numbers, but Eko throws him out of the Swan and tells him not to come back.
The fact that it is Thanksgiving Day is completely ignored by all castaways and Others, possibly because the majority of American survivors are either treking with Eko or trying to save Libby. Nikki laments that Thanksgiving was forgotten by the Losties in the episode Exposé.
Day 66 - Friday, November 26, 2004
- Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer and Michael leave for the Others' camp.
- Sayid, Jin and Sun leave in the sailboat for the Others' camp.
- Locke tells Desmond about the Pearl. They decide to find out what happens when the countdown timer runs past zero.
- Ben has more X-rays of his spine (the ones seen by Jack in "Every Man for Himself").
Day 67 - Saturday, November 27, 2004
- Sayid, Jin and Sun pass the statue and reach the decoy village, where Sayid opens the door.
- Michael admits he shot Ana Lucia and Libby to free "Henry Gale", and is leading the other four into a trap as part of a deal to get Walt back. Jack claims to have prepared a counter-plan.
- Sawyer shoots an Other that was tailing the Walt rescue party.
- The Walt rescue party finds the capsule dump, hears the whispers and is captured by the Others.
- Desmond and Locke take possession of the computer room from Eko.
- Desmond realizes the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 coincided with a system failure.
- Locke prevents Desmond entering the Numbers.
- The countdown timer runs down. Metallic objects fly towards the electromagnet and the Swan shakes as if hit by an earthquake.
- Desmond activates the fail safe.
- The Swan 'implodes'.
- The discharge is seen and heard all over the island.
- At Pala Ferry Ben tells Michael the Others are "the good guys", and gives him a compass bearing (325) to "find rescue". Michael and Walt leave in the Others' boat.
- Hurley is sent back to warn the rest of the survivors to stay away. Ben tells him that Jack, Sawyer and Kate "are coming home with us".
- Charlie returns to the beach camp, vague and confused about what happened in the Swan.
- The Listening Station detects an electromagnetic anomaly and informs Penelope Widmore. (It isn't known for sure that this occurred on the same day as the Island events shown in the same episode).
Day 68 - Sunday, November 28, 2004
"A Tale of Two Cities" Inside the Hydra station
- Jack is questioned by Juliet. During Jack's escape attempt Ben seems willing to sacrifice Juliet's life. Juliet weakens Jack's resistance using comprehensive information about his ex-wife.
- Sawyer is kept in a large zoo cage. Karl escapes from the cage opposite and releases Sawyer; but both are soon re-captured.
- Ben warns Kate the next two weeks will be quite unpleasant. Later Kate is caged opposite Sawyer; her wrists look badly scratched.
- Locke wakes up in the jungle, unable to speak, and needing to 'talk to the Island'. In a vision, Boone tells Locke to "clean up his own mess". Locke and Charlie rescue Eko from a polar bear.
- Desmond wakes up in the jungle, naked. He meets Hurley and mentions a speech made by Locke. Later, at the beach camp, Hurley hears Locke making the speech.
Day 67 to Day 74
- Michael and Walt reach the outside world. They travel to the United States.
- Michael tells Walt something that greatly upsets Walt. Walt is left with Michael's mother in New York.
- Michael gets an apartment and a car in New York City.
- Michael attempts suicide by driving his car into a wall.
- Michael wakes in a hospital where he sees a vision of Libby.
- Michael's mother prevents him from seeing Walt when Michael attempts to visit.
Day 69 - Monday, November 29, 2004
- Kate and Sawyer are put on work duty. Alex sneaks up to ask Kate about Karl. Sawyer starts a breakout to test the Others strength, but surrenders when Juliet threatens Kate at gunpoint.
- Sayid, Jin and Sun set an ambush for the Others at the Pala Ferry. But the Others approach by sea at night and steal the Elizabeth with Sun on board. Sun escapes by shooting Colleen and jumping overboard.
- Ben tells Jack his real name and that he has lived on the Island his entire life.
- the survivors have spent 69 days on the Island
- the current date is 29 November 2004
- George Bush was re-elected
- Christopher Reeve died
- the Red Sox won the World Series.
- Ben plays Jack a video of the Red Sox victory, then offers to take him home if he co-operates.
Day 70 - Tuesday, November 30, 2004
- Jack and Juliet fail to save Colleen's life. Jack sees X-rays of a spinal tumor and suspects that the Others want him to operate on someone.
- Sawyer is tricked into believing the Others have put a deadly pacemaker inside his chest.
- Desmond foresees a lightning bolt killing Charlie, and constructs a lightning rod to deflect it.
