I believe this template should go at the bottom and not at the top, as it is used now. At the top, it breaks the page structure, and also, it is customary in wikis to put in-subject navigation at the bottom. Riki 09:03, 17 May 2006 (PDT)
- I agree LOSTonthisdarnisland 01:29, 18 May 2006 (PDT)
- I agree as well --TheYmode 18:31, 11 July 2006 (PDT)
- I disagree with this. The top looks better.--CaptainInsano
- I disagree also but looks like someone just decided to do it --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:35, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
- Nice one Captain, I was strongly considering it but thought 'is it worth the potential argument'...nice to see you telling it like it is! --Nickb123 (Talk) 10:00, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
- I didn't mean a ban of course not, I meant just changing it all back (BTW its just season 1 isn't it) --Nickb123 (Talk) 10:06, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
- I disagree with this. The top looks better.--CaptainInsano
Riki gave solid reasons why the nav template should be on bottom (as every other wiki-type project do), it is common sense, a reader go to an article page to read the article first and for most, after that he’s been given a further reading options at the end of the article in the form of:

- Riki isn't a sysop is he. You are probably new here. Learn the rules before you jump in.--CaptainInsano
- Captain is right I'm afraid, having the template at the top has always been the way so you can flick easily. Episodes were one of the first articles made on this site I believe, and its a traditional format, so who are we to argue with that. Major changes can only be done with major voting for it from a number of experienced and respected editors (i.e. Sysops and those who do a lot of metawiki stuff and contribute to the help pages) --Nickb123 (Talk) 08:28, 14 July 2006 (PDT)
Still haven't given any good reason why the nav template should be on top other then "that’s how it was when it was fist added". It’s a wiki, article are improving all the time, that’s the point isn’t it? BTW every other nav template here are located at the bottom (as they should) so I don't see how it is "traditional format". P.S. the suggestion was here for over 3 weeks and no one else comment on it. How can one request a peer review here? --TheYmode 21:52, 14 July 2006 (PDT)
- You want a reason. If someone clicks on the wrong episode name they don't have to scroll all the way down to click on the the episode name wanted. Plus I said up at my first edit it looks better and nobody commented on it because they probably liked it on the top.--CaptainInsano
Layout
The convention with information presented in columns is to read each column from top to bottom, as a list, rather than to read each broken row from left to right. The present layout of this template contradicts this convention and I find it awkward to scan quickly. Does anyone have any objections to reorganizing the episode order into column lists? --Nigedo 09:13, 6 July 2006 (PDT)
- I've edited it like you suggested, I think its much more readable and easy to use like this. --TheYmode 18:34, 11 July 2006 (PDT)
Proposal
I've never really liked the Season navigational boxes, and so have created some new ones. They're the same basic layout, but text is bigger and now reads across rather than down (I prefer it this way but others might not). They are coloured coded - Season One is grey like its DVD set, Season Two orange like its DVD set, and Season Three green (seems most suitable from the cast photo for the season). I think they are visually better, but as I mentioned earlier, the 'reading across' format may confuse. They can be found here. >: 4 8 15 16 23 42 09:58, 4 February 2007 (PST)
I agree with Capt although not quite as bluntly. I'd back it if you tone down the colors. --Princess Dharma (banned) 10:08, 4 February 2007 (PST)
The Whole Truth
Just little request: could any SysOp who is passing through change The Whole Truth's flashback characters to be both Jin and Sun. It's the little things that get to me!(sigh) --Bobi (talk) (contribs) 12:15, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
Dave
I just noticed that the navigator says that the Episode 18 ("Dave") is a "Hurley" flashback but it is in fact a "Hurly & Libby" flashback.
Someone aught to change it as it is locked to normal members.
