Lost Experience Characters?

Why do TLE characters use this? From what I can tell, it looks like using this puts them in the Flashback Character category, which most of them aren't (Rachel Blake has never shown up in a flashback). Or is that categorization coming from something else I'm not figuring out? --Minderbinder 13:45, 5 October 2006 (PDT)

Episode names in quotes rather than italics

May I recommend that the characters templates be altered so that episode titles (in the Appearances field) not be italicized? Episode titles are properly placed in quotation marks. Robert K S 03:44, 30 October 2006 (PST)

But 'properly' according to who? Is there a standard? I've always liked seeing it more in italics, I'm just usually too lazy for this myself.. -PandoraX

• It may be either italics, underline, or quotes depending on the manual of style (MoS) for the body of work. Since we are the staff that decide the de facto MoS of this body of work, I don't think we need to stay locked into one or the other IMHO. Personally I vote for italics. We also have pragmatics to consider here: It occurs so much throughout the site that there will always be a mix of plain text episode titles, and properly-formatted titles. With the use of italics, the discrepancy is not as much as a clash, and therefore not such a visual headache. Remember that this not only goes for episode titles, but book titles, movie titles, reference source titles, and so forth. Voting or italics here... • Yeah, I've noticed this also, it's very hard to enforce a system-wide standard (whether or not to bold an intro word, capitalization of titles, etc), and the OCD side of me just has to chill that most things will never be uniform across the site, and just accept the best possible effort. :) It's hard enough to get people to even wikify links, and that's one click. --PandoraX

First/Last Episode

Those fields are not automatically parsing to what they should be from the old template (I think they had the first/last appearance in one field). For example, Liam Pace, you can check. Thanks. -PandoraX
