Well, I like all of these, to be honest though, it doesn't make much of a difference between all these color choices. I think they are all obviously attention-grabbing, and clear that it's a banned user, so it's no big deal which one we use.--PandoraX 15:40, 12 October 2006 (PDT)

    • I'm for the anything that is "less bright". My feeling is no colors we use should go that strong on intensity, it give people headaches. Headaches make people not visit the site. --Circeus UTCE 13:43, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
      • The colors may be a little obnoxious, but I don't think it's that big a deal. This is only going to show up on user pages, and pages of users who are banned at that. Most readers of lostpedia probably won't come across this much if ever. --Minderbinder 15:08, 12 October 2006 (PDT)

  • I think we should remove the expiration date and only use this for indefinite bans. If someone is banned for a week, the banner will still say 1 week even though 1 day is left. -- Paladine<c.t> 13:03, 12 October 2006 (PDT)
  • You could get around that by listing when the ban expires instead of the duration. Actually, it would be cool if there was some way to actually access the ban log and grab the date or duration from there.
