Anthony Cooper was involved.
- Sawyer did not recognize Cooper when he saw him in The Brig. If you're doing a con with somebody, chances are you'd want to know them well enough to trust them.
- Sawyer may of not been working with Cooper, but against him.
Hibbs did not follow through with his end of the con, causing Sawyer to be arrested and incarcerated. This is why Sawyer was in a Florida State Prison, why Sawyer told Hibbs that he would kill him if he ever saw him again, and why Hibbs "attempted" to make it up to Sawyer.
