Talk:The Lost Experience clues/theories
From Lostpedia
This article is only for expounding on theories related to the clues. The theories should be kept in chronological order, matching the clues article format. This will also allow this talk page for discussing the various theories, where the clue talk page is only used for deciding what should be included in the clue article. You know, in the image you receive as playing part of the game, that "Persephone I know who you are...", the background looks eerily similar to the last image shown on the previous page, with the nuclear waste and "cape town inquisitor"....
Argument for Deletion
All of this information has been moved to the calendar links on the The Lost Experience Clues page. This is not updated as often and is redundant. Brian 22:06, 19 June 2006 (PDT)
- I disagree. I started this article to avoid heaps of theories cluttering the clue articles. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 10:53, 20 June 2006 (PDT)
- There is theory sections on the day-by-day clue pages. Brian 20:43, 20 June 2006 (PDT)
- That is the point. There shouldn't be a theory section on each day's clue page. It clutters up the article with 'it could be's', moving focus away from the clues. Too often theories are not clearly outlined, and having them off the articles entirely solves the problem. This article allows for one place for all the theories, and is especially handy in that someone can read down the page and may find they can connect the dots from one theory to the next. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 01:43, 21 June 2006 (PDT)
- I can see the need to keep all the theories in one place but that does make it difficult to refer to the clues while comparing theories. Could someone please wikilink all the clue release date headings? --Nigedo 06:19, 29 June 2006 (PDT)
- Done -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 01:56, 3 July 2006 (PDT)

Heart Of Darkness reference
"The pictures in Hole 2 and Hole 3 both bear resembleance to the cover of the book Heart of Darkness."
Quoting directly above, but can this be built on? Do we know what edition of the book? Print Year? Cover Artist/Photographer? I know that this is only a theory section, but it 'does' help if we have a bit more info on external references. --|-- BlahDeBlahblah 05:53, 29 June 2006 (PDT)
