I was wondering what people thought of the new SaveJoop clue? TLEC is listing it as an official clue:

Savejoop.com Update: When we tried to visit one of our favorite sites today, we instead saw an announcement that they had reached 10,800 signatures and a message stating that for reason they could not disclose, savejoop.com had to be shutdown. But they gave a link to a MySpace account, where they supplied us with a better explanation that "some people did not find it too funny" and gave a link to www.sitonamonkey.com who was "keeping the cause alive".

Find the post titled "108" and read through the comments. Early on "savejoop" tells that, after reaching their mark and trying to contact Hanso, they started getting ALOT of heat for it and were trying to find a way to show us the documentation. THEN they provided this link and this link, asking for a passwords. The passwords were found to both be DI 9FFTR731. This gives us a letter from Peter Thompson and an image of a restraining order against them from Hanso, respectively. Looks like THF means business!

Yet I stll believe I'ver heard that it's been out-of-game declared by Speaker, and I feel like we've discussed this before here as well. Can we revisit?

ROT clue

did that DSL guy actually talk to someone from here? Was that scripted or did someone say hey wanna bring down THF and he was like yeah here's a clue?

I have heard the same msg with many other people and other TLE forums, it is a scripted msg that was cut and pasted en masse, and I believe it is a real clue. --PandoraX 06:27, 28 June 2006 (PDT)

ROT stuff

In german, welcome is spelled with two l's -- willkommen. Don't know if that's important or not. I remember the newsletter sent out by ROT starts out with thank you. If they change the password to the ROT site, maybe willkommen or wilkommen will be part of the new password. --Pamindfw 08:36, 28 June 2006 (PDT)
