The synopsis needs some work, still, but I have removed some of the more obvious inaccuracies. In particular: Smith's parentage is tricky, so saying "two astronauts" is asking for trouble; His mother (not his parents) invented the Lyle Drive, which was probably not a "rocket engine" and certainly was never described as such; He did eventually give up his rights to Mars, or at least Jubal gave them up for him, so not all of the attempts were unsuccessful.
