Talk:Sarah Shephard
From Lostpedia
Desmond seems to take an interest in Jack's patient/ex-wife during their conversations. It has been suggested that Desmond is the other man in Sarah's life.
He seems strangely positive about Jack having "fixed" her when they first met. Jack doesn't offer much information about what he did but Desmond seems rather positive about a situation he knows nothing about
Jack tells him he had "failed" so why does Desmond think there was any reason for hope.
Its highly unlikely that Desmond has seen Sarah and knows shes recovered feeling in her feet, esp as Jack appears to be there when she first regains consciousness. But maybe he knows something.. Locke regains use of his feet once he arrives on the island where Desmond is later found too.
Once i saw that picture connecting Desmond with the wife of the couple who want to adopt Claire's baby in Australia I got to wondering if the husband could have been involved in another 'manipulation' its a leap.. but i like the idea. user:MRNasher
- "OTHER MAN" She didn't claim she was seeing another man. She said she was, "...seeing someone. Someone else." --Carl
- Sarah didn't meet Jack 4 years before the crash...she met him 3 years before the crash. Desmond met Jack shortly before he went on his trip around the world and he has stated he lived in the hatch for 3 years. Desmond and Sarah both met Jack around the same time. Also in season 1 Shannon states she's 20 and at her father's funeral she is 18. If it was 3 years her comment in season 1 would work if she had her 21st birthday on the island. If it was 4 years it couldn't work. user:ksofen666
In Man of Science, Man of Faith, the closed-captioning spell's her name as "Sara", without the "h" at the end. Are we sure we're spelling her name correctly? I see that it is spelled as "Sarah" in IMDB. I suppose that is more definitive that closed-captioning, right? --MikeF74 20:24, 31 May 2006 (PDT)
Which Car?
I don't really see how "SUV is the most populaur car in the US" really answers my theory. It is an established continuity-error (see Sledgewebs Investigations Page here [1] (episode 2x06), and my theory would solve this error. - Welshy 11:43, 20 August 2006 (PDT)
- Agreed - this seems like a very sensible theory, and doesn't seem to contradict the info in the show. No reason to delete from theories unless there's evidence proving they were in different cars. --Jajasoon 11:52, 21 August 2006 (PDT)
- In Man of Science, Man of Faith. I have two scene that prove Adam was non't in Sarah's vehicle.
Scene 1 EMT: Female, late 20's, no ID, she coded twice on the way over here.
NURSE: Where's the other one?
EMT: Right behind us. They're on their way -- Fire Department had to use the jaws.
Scene 2
SARAH: What happened to him?
JACK: Just try to relax, okay?
SARAH: The car that I hit -- the other driver was older.
JACK: He died in the ER
- Man why wouldn't the nurse say where are the other two? That is because Sarah hit Adam or vice-versa. Why would Sarah say the other diver was older? They weren't driving in a student diver car. If have any more comments, questions, or anything else you know where to find me.--CaptainInsano 06:34, 17 September 2006 (PDT)
Sarah Wagner
In "Worth A Thousand Words" it is stated that Sarah's last name is Wagner (before she got married). I know Via Domus isn't canon, but should this at least be mentioned? -- CTS Talk Contribs 10:45, 16 July 2008 (PDT)
