- Delete: That is advertising --CaptainInsano
- Keep:Valuable infromation. For example those looking to purchase the book Bad Twin or Lost: The Official Magazine may not be aware of how to find it. Those Lostites who actually want a save Joop T-Shirt may want to knwo what other users ar esayign about them. eg was it easy/difficult to order? was it of poor quality. As a reference for fan shoppers this article could become a usefull tool. I say keep it as a stub.--Jasoncarubia 11:37, 8 June 2006 (PDT)
- Keep: I think it should be kept, but not for the above reason. There are plenty of other ways people can track down the merchandise on their own (starting with a simple Google search). This site is not meant to be all things to all people, but rather a place where people who are interested in LOST can find information related to the show and it's expanded universe. Therefore, it's entirely relevant to have the merchandise listed, because it represents a facet of the show and it's impact on pop culture--not because Lostpedia is a shopping guide for Losties. --Jacob's Lather 08:06, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- Keep - But we should add that list over at Amazon.com with Lost-related stuff. A very through list, too bad I couldn't find it at this time. --Jambalaya 11:57, 8 June 2006 (PDT)
- Keep: This is good stuff. Jabberwock talk contribs email - 14:28, 11 June 2006 (PDT)
- Keep: I'm not a big fan of mass merchandising, but I think this is stuff that could interest the lostpedia audience, so I added info on figurines & puzzles, and will remove the stub tag. --PandoraX 15:09, 26 August 2006 (PDT)
Fan Made Merchandise?
The save Joop shirts are funny, and I whole-heartedly support the guy who put them up; but I'm worried that the wiki might get in trouble for advertising pirate t-shirts. Does anyone know if that's even possible? --Beardog4314 15:50, 1 June 2006 (PDT)
I think David of TLEC did check that Joop was not trademarked before creating those. Same goes for numbers forum & SWLS fan tshirts I added, I know for a fact that the Numbers and heiroglyphics are not trademarked material. I believe lostpedia encountered some of the same issues when it first searched for a logo, and we clarified some of this. --PandoraX 15:11, 26 August 2006 (PDT)
