Talk:Last Humans (theory)
From Lostpedia
If this theory is disproved in Season 3, I propose removing it. Agreed? --plkrtn 02:52, 14 September 2006 (PDT)
I think that this theory has been debunked by the events of Season 3. So, I think that it should be reclassified under debunked theories. --Ghtx 22:39, 10 March 2007 (PST)
Debunked?
I know this is stated under the "Cons" section of this theory article, but I think that the contradicting evidence pretty much debunks this theory. If I remember correctly, the producers have pretty much confirmed that the listening station and the scene with the call to Penelope at the end of Season 2 was real-time off the island. I also beleive they stated that the search for the plane wasn't going very well (although this could mean a variety of things). Also, there is some evidence in Season 3, such as Ben sharing several real-world events with Jack. Thoughts, anyone? --Gateboy42 15:38, 13 March 2007 (PDT)
- I agree. This theory should be listed under "already debunked." --Ghtx 13:43, 16 March 2007 (PDT)
- I also agree. There has been one incident of outside world real time action (season 2 finale, Penny) and the season 3 finale had contact with the outside world (if the guy on the satellite phone was really on a boat in the pacific). ShivaTalk 16:31, 15 June 2007 (PDT)
- Anyone ever planning on moving this to debunked?
- I think that now that the Oceanic 6 have officially gotten off the island in the time line and back to L.A., which is perfectly in tact, it should be moved to debunked. --OrangeXenon54 16:57, 23 June 2008 (PDT)
