How do we know what part Kimber Andrews plays on the show? Guran 04:48, 16 April 2007 (PDT)

  • Same holds for Crystal and Alissa Jean Scott. I propose we leave all four pages, but don't say which actress plays which character. Maybe something like 'this actress portrays either Crystal or Autumn'. I think we can assume that both ladies do play the lead characters, since they are listed on the top of the cast list together with Billy Dee Williams.

Merge nomination

Due to the above discussion, it seems that the uncertainty around who is who justifies IMO just merging these pages into the main Exposé show article. I mean, we have articles on Autumn and Crystal already, so do we really need ones on their appearent "real names" when we don't even know who's who for sure. LaShade is different as the "real name" is actually the real actor, but for these girls it seems a little unnecessary. However, by a similar, should Corvette be merged into something as well is an interesting question? --Nickb123 (Talk) 07:40, 11 February 2008 (PST)

  • I think we should keep the pages on the metafictional characters Crystal, Autumn and Corvette. At Corvette's page we can refer to Nikki's page, but for the other two we don't list a portrayer. We can then delete the pages for Kimber Andrews and Alissa Jean Scott and only list them on the Expose TV series page. --DJVok 11:25, 11 February 2008 (PST)
  • No Merge Wouldn't it make more sense to merge the names of the metafictional characters with the page for the show Expose, and leave the names of the actors and actresses as separate pages instead?     • Okay, but can you give any evidence why Kimber Andrews plays Autumn and not Crystal? Because that is my main issue here: I can't find any info whatsoever about this in the episode, and if it is just an assumption than we should at least remove the actress-character links. --DJVok 14:05, 11 February 2008 (PST)
    • The conventional listing method is to list regular (main) cast first, then guest cast, and Nikki is a guest, and appears at the bottom. Billy Dee and two women's names are listed in the top, which makes sense. Admittedly this is fan-speculation, so this reasoning should be explained lower down in each article. Additionally, I might agree with DJVok that Kimber Andrews and Alissa Jean Scott are not assigned specifically to with respect to who is Autumn and who is Crystal. If we agree on this point, then this ambiguity should be explained on each page. The pages are a bit confusing b/c Billy Dee is a real person who depicts himself, but the way some of the pages are worded, we seem to imply that Kimber and Alissa Jean are real people-- this information should be clarified to note these are uncredited background extra roles for which we do not know the real-world actresses. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T 14:27, 11 February 2008 (PST)
    • I think the reasons the articles were named this way is because Billy Dee Williams says "Autumn, Crystal" as the two women enter. The articles assume he looked at the left actress first, and also that she is first credited in the script, therefore making her Autumn and the other woman Crystal--Phil (talk) 14:47, 11 February 2008 (PST)
    • I can understand why this would define which picture is Autumn and which picture is Crystal, but I'm not quite following the reason for assuming 'she is first credited', since the scene we saw was the last scene of that Expose ep. If it had been the first scene, then we might have used the 'credits in order of appearance' argument. But we can mention something about the ambiguity on each of their pages, and don't make a direct statement as to who portrays who on the main Expose script page perhaps? --DJVok 15:03, 11 February 2008 (PST)
  • I took the liberty to remove all hard statements about who-plays-who. So the pages for Crystal and Autumn now state that it's unknown who plays them. On the Expose main page I updated the text concerning the cast. So I suggest that the Kimber Andrews and Alissa Jean Scott pages be removed, since the info listed there is almost equal to the info on the Crystal and Autumn pages. --DJVok 06:44, 4 March 2008 (PST)
