Talk:Isaac of Uluru

From theories: "Isaac is actually the leader of The Others and healed Locke and Rose."

..anyone else find amusing that whenever there's a new character on the show, a theory emerges placing them as the leader of the others? --skks 07:00, 13 April 2006 (PDT)

The truth is that I am the leader of the others.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 07:20, 13 April 2006 (PDT)

Its that old gem of sticking the answer to something in your face and then revealing it at the end to gasps of shock and awe... for me.. i now think the Island itself is 'Him' and the others are volcano worshipers. --MRNasher

  • That's a good theory. It certainly fits with some of the odder things that have happened on the Island. For example, Locke losing the use of his legs when it appeared "the Island" wanted something else from him. I don't necessarily buy that as "the answer" but it's a good thought. --Sid67 07:57, 14 April 2006 (PDT)

Masseur?

I googled this term and it looks like someone that performs erotic massage. Was this said in the episode? The tabloid article doesn't use this term at all.    Jabberwock    talk    contribs    email   - 08:08, 13 April 2006 (PDT)

A masseur (female version masseuse) is anyone trained in massage. This can be therapeutic or erotic. The confusion comes from the fact that "massage parlors" are often thinly veiled houses of prostitution.--Tricksterson 09:29, 13 April 2006 (PDT)

Dictionary.com defines it simply as "A man who gives massages professionally." I would imagine there are alot of websites out there focusing on erotic massage, but there is no reason to believe that Isaac engages in that practice. --BigSteve777 10:48, 13 April 2006 (PDT)

Anagrams are Fun:

Isaac of Uluru: A LUCIA FOUR US*, A CURIA** FOUL US,

  • (ana lucia?)
    • (medieval assembly or council)

just thought I'd throw that in for speculation.

New pic?

This is one of the official pics from the lost website of Isaac. Maybe better for the entry?

Speculations

  • Isaac is actually Him, the leader of The Others, and healed Locke and Rose.
    • Huh? Based on what? Isaac hasn't even been spotted on the island. --Zicsoft 16:37, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
  • Possible connection with Locke. In Walkabout, Locke intended to go to the Australian outback and was highly distressed when he was denied the chance. It is possible that Locke planned to attend a session with Isaac in an attempt to cure his paralysis.
After seeing "One of Us", I'm going to say this seems to be quite possible.....--Sauron18 20:31, 11 April 2007 (PDT)

Mythology Associated With Uluru

Can anyone offer a source for this info? Sounds a little fantastical, even for a myth.--TechNic|talk|conts 19:53, 19 May 2007 (PDT)
