I created a doctors page because of all the doctor stubs. I merged this article with it. I don't know what to do with this article now.--LOCI! 17:48, 30 June 2006 (PDT)

RENAME!

I have the DVDs and It lists his name as Ivan, not Ian.--LOST ON CRAPHOLE ISLAND!!!!! 17:08, 2 October 2006 (PDT)

If anyone can double confirm this, I'll rename it. -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  14:44, 3 October 2006 (PDT)
  • Ian or Ivan, I believe he is NOT a doctor. He is an undertaker, who happens to believe he is qualified to do autopsies. Therefore the name should not have "Dr." in it. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T15:06, 3 October 2006 (PDT)
Coroners are either barristers, solicitors or medical practitioners, and as he isn't a barrister or a solicitor, one would assume he is a medical practitioner -- Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  15:11, 3 October 2006 (PDT)
Although I couldn't find the orignal, it looks like ABC had a press release in which they listed his name as it appears in this article, including the Dr. If it's different in the show end credits, it will be up for debate which to use - probably worth taking a screencap if that's the case. I also just checked the transcript, and it says that a voice says Ian on the tape recording. S2E21 - ? Transcript --Minderbinder 15:19, 3 October 2006 (PDT)
  • On the DVD end credits, it says exactly this: FELIX WILLIAMSON Dr. Ivan McVay. I don't have the technology for a screencap. I vote Rename to Ivan. --LOST ON CRAPHOLE ISLAND!!!!! 13:58, 4 October 2006 (PDT)
Agree -Chris[dt7] 03:24, 7 October 2006 (PDT)
But what name do they say in the episode (if anything)? I think it should only be changed if there's confirmation that they say "Ivan" in the dialogue, or if the name isn't said at all. --Minderbinder 09:57, 9 October 2006 (PDT)
I checked with subtitles during the playing of the tape. Valerie says "Ian, stop it!" So I guess there was a mistake.--LOST ON CRAPHOLE ISLAND!!!!! 13:22, 10 October 2006 (PDT)
  • Could someone summarize all FACTS from official sources and their discrepancies regarding his name and title, and insert this into the article? -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T23:48, 30 October 2006 (PST)
