Talk:Hospitalized man
From Lostpedia
We don't need an article about this. The man was just next to him, nothing of utmost importantance. -- Nusentinsaino talk contribs email 12:36, 21 March 2008 (PDT)
- However, he was mentioned explicitly by one of the nurses. He's more important than Sexy Blue Striped Shirt Girl, and just as important as Mr. and Mrs. Tranh. -- Sam McPherson T C 12:46, 21 March 2008 (PDT)
- Plus, the camera stayed fixed on him for a while before panning further. --User:Smullie/sig 21:28, 21 March 2008 (PDT)
- The camera staying fixed on him doesn't mean a lot, actually, and I don't think this guy will ever be a plot element. But Sam has made a good point; just the fact that he was mentioned seems to make this article legit. -- c blacxthornE t 04:16, 22 March 2008 (PDT)
I've updated the page, added an infobox with picture and added 2 more lines. I think the article is OK now? --ArnoVL 13:41, 21 March 2008 (PDT)
- So that's it? You end the discussion? It's better, but you shouldn't just end such a discussion without consensus. -- c blacxthornE t 04:16, 22 March 2008 (PDT)
Removed idea that he was in a coma. He couldnt yell because he has a tube down his throat. Moo 16:46, 21 March 2008 (PDT)
Hanso?
I think this article is extremely important. I had my suspicions after seeing the episode so I compared the footage of him to the footage of Alvar Hanso shot by Rachel Blake on September 24th (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntRCiwmiFQQ&eurl=http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Alvar_hanso). Starting at 58 seconds into Blake's video you get an almost profile look at Hanso; you can see that their hairline and facial features are very similar (since the video does not give a full profile it is hard to say that they are exactly the same). The only difference is that the man in the hospital's beard and mustache are grayer meaning he has aged. As mentioned in Bad Twin the Hanso Foundation (and the Widmore Corporation) are located in New York City (as are Michael and the hospital). There is a reason they showed this man on screen for as long as they did.
