Talk:Fan-made DHARMA logos
From Lostpedia
You know, the last one of the mispelt ROT site (so lame), I think he actually ripped off Yannick's Lostpedia logo entry image. So he's a fraud and an unoriginal jerk. --PandoraX 12:19, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
Non Canon or Fanon?
The name kind of shows that this article is non canon, so I'm switching the tag to fanon. --Phmall 09:19, 3 September 2006 (PDT)
Phmall: I've always felt like Noncanon is a stronger tag for items which are clearly fan-made, but which are also FAKING being canon (they don't admit to being fans). As most of this is made for sites such as these (sites pretending to be official), I hope you'll forgive me for adding the NonCanon tag back. I think it is a much better description of what is seen (Fanon definition in tag says "does not contradict canon, which this clearly does) --PandoraX 09:21, 3 September 2006 (PDT)
- There should be some kind of hybrid between non canon and fanon, because most of the logos on this page are fanon, its just the initiative classifications and the goblet that are non canon. Would putting a Fanon tag halfway down the page work? --Phmall 09:29, 3 September 2006 (PDT)
- I think there could be an argument made for putting both the fanon & noncanon tags on this page. There are some here which are clearly made to fool (goblet & catbird ones) and some which are clearly jokes not meant to be taken seriously (the ipod one). --PandoraX 09:35, 3 September 2006 (PDT)

Fan logo gallery
Informal poll: Should the Fan logo gallery be deleted from this article?
- Delete - IMHO the fan logo gallery has no place in the wiki. It belongs in the forum, or on user pages. To me Lostpedia policy for fan-created content in articles includes only Theories and Original research (e.g. trancripts, screencap analyses, etc.) I've separated individual users' logos from unofficial logos found throughout the web, since these are very different. I feel uncomfortable encouraging every use to post their version here, so I am suggesting that we delete these. -- C¯ _Santa_ ¯T02:20, 29 October 2006 (PST)
- Delete SOME It isn't really a gallery is it, just the pics at the side. I agree some should definitely go, but then again notable ones should stay. At the moment, someone makes a logo and is allowed to just upload it. There should be restrictions on what fan-logos justify being on this page --Nickb123 (Talk) 09:40, 29 October 2006 (PST)
- STOP ! Why English lostpedia want to delete all comic article ?! -- Regedit 01:28, 30 October 2006 (PST)
Yes i agree with Regedit here. Lostpedia is meant for almost everything on Lost, and that should also mean things made by the fans of the lost community. This article should not be deleted.--Jabadibah 14:18, 3 January 2007 (PST)
- Delete: No Lostpedia is meant to chronicle Lost. If anyone can just create a logo and upload it, we become photobucket or flickr, not an encyclopedia on Lost. I just found the fan logo gallery and was shocked its been here for that long. -- Plkrtn talk contribs email 08:29, 11 February 2007 (PST)

- Delete Per above. Some are funny, but it's getting too carried away and includes "non-notable logos" from any lostpedian with photoshop, no end in sight. --PandoraX 12:04, 14 February 2007 (PST)
- Oh right i thought you wanted to delete the whole entire page, but you just want to get rid of the random fan logos on the bottem, right, in that case *Delete as it is getting a bit carried away. --Jabadibah 12:24, 14 February 2007 (PST)
