Is it just me or is listing novel characters in the same category as the show characters a bit off? Call me a racist but they should have their own category! --skks 04:36, 12 April 2006 (PDT)

Novel Characters are canon, they are endorsed by ABC, opposite to fan fiction. Should we go to another Star Trek like debate over different grades of canonicity? Novel canon template? I didn't even know about the novels until recently (now I have to go out and read them,) and think that if they add to the "Lost" ethos there really shouldn't be a need to differentiate them.
