Debunked?
- Can someone clarify for me how any cloning theory has been debunked... I can't find the source anywhere on lostpedia... --Rufus 13:23, 16 February 2007 (PST)
- Still it's odd that it doesn't appear in the transcript... is there any way of finding out exactly what they said about clones. After all, "we will never hear the word clone in the show" is a lot different to "there are no clones on the island" . Also, were these comments made about just season 3 or the whole show?Rufus 01:16, 17 February 2007 (PST)
- Also the producers don't seem to have debunked the theory that what may be going on is Parthenogenesis. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenogenesis. rather than cloning. This process also produces genetically identical offspring. It was also mentioned in the lost experience from The_Lost_Experience_clues/June_7. Rufus 03:59, 19 February 2007 (PST)
- Thats not what Parthenogenesis is, the offspring are not cell for cell identical, the term means that a female can fertilize its own offspring without the aid of a male. Believe me, I was the first to find the word in Verizons source code. TPTB debunked clones.--mac_ad 17:47, 6 December 2007 (PST)
