In the show, Lindsey addressed Claire's mother as Carol (or Carole). One could easily assume that Carol's last name would be littleton, so it only makes sense. Check the CC, because I sure will. --Aero*Zeppelin 21:21, 14 March 2007 (PDT)

    • I'm also pretty sure the re-airing of the episode used "Carole" in the enhanced episode feature, but "Carol" in the credits. And I thought the enhanced stuff was really reliable. :( Alexisfan07

          • I just saw that they stated Libby died in episode 2x22, more than once, proving the enhanced feature is not accurate and is probably not overseen by anyone official with the show. Alexisfan07

UA again

I want to wipe clean yet another UA section, but I guess it's quite big, so I'll wait for input. My thoughts:

• Why did Carole decide to cut off contact with Christian after Claire was a young child?

Answered. Christian said that she wasn't happy with him having another family. I think it's understandable; we don't need to keep looking for another reason.

• Is there a reason besides resentment that Carole kept Claire from knowing her father was alive?

Leading. Whether there is or not is a theory. For all we know she was just not happy with him being a drunk.

• Did Christian have an ulterior motive for suggesting to Claire that he could help legally take Carole off life support?

Leading. Whether he did or not is another theory. For all we know he just wanted to help "let go".

• Is Carole still alive and on life support?

Irrelevant. Yes, so this is unanswered, but is it relevant?

• Was there some unfinished business with Carole/Claire that led Christian to Australia before his death?

Leading. Whether there was or not is, again, a theory. For all we know he just wanted to see his daughter.

I'm a little late in getting to this, but I agree that they should be removed, except for the one about Carole keeping Claire from knowing that her father was alive, which I would suggest rewording to remove the part about resentment, since it suggests that resentment would be the reason, which is somewhat leading in and of itself. I think that now, after the finale, it's clear that the most important question is how did she recover from her coma? The doctors said it was irreversible. There could be some sort of island connection here. I'm not going to put it up though unless it is approved as a valid question. And I think that the "unfinished business" question is very valid because there should be more than just wanting to see his daughter. And aren't the unanswered questions supposed to generate theories? Isn't that why they're associated with the theories page??? --OrangeXenon54 02:10, 5 June 2008 (PDT)

The unanswered questions are supposed to note the mysteries introduced by the show, and nothing more, really. They're not supposed to generate theories per se; theories are attempts to answer them however. "How did she recover?" is technically a valid UQ, however I don't see how it could be answered; for all we know it's another miracle just like Sarah's recovery. Anyway the difference between a question generating a theory and one that is not is "How did she recover?" vs. "Did the Island cause her recovery?", the latter being a leading question.--     c      blacxthornE      t     07:48, 5 June 2008 (PDT)
