Faster Friends
There appears to be some sort of scientific coding on the cover of Walts comic - Faster Friends, and "C4" appears on the cover of faster friends part two. Dont know what it is or what it means but given C4 appears on the map, thought it may be relevant. --Morrison
name
Why are these subpages title hidden map notations and hidden map geography? It's more commonly known as The Blast Door Map and a rename of the pages might be less confusing.Roccyraccoon
- I don't know. The page really doesn't have anything to do with the Blast Door itself, it's about the hidden map on the door. We already have a category for all the Blast Door stuff and have it linked on the blast door map page, do we really need to add the extra wording (4 words instead of 3) to further describe the page? --Sid67 08:55, 16 May 2006 (PDT)
- Yeah it would just cause extra complications. Looking back at the Blast door map article, it is referred to again as the The hidden map, which seems a little redundant but whatever.Roccyraccoon
- Hidden is odd. What if they find another map? I think it should be BDMN BDMG instead. -- LOSTonthisdarnisland21:32, 18 May 2006 (PDT)

More detail
- For the heads up, I'd like to go uber in-depth with this page, like adding a little reference image for the phrases and exploring possible connections associated with them. If anyone thinks this is a crappy idea let me know before I crop out all those images.Roccyraccoon 09:16, 16 May 2006 (PDT)
- Perhaps this page should use the image of the full Series 2 DVD version of the map (as per the blast door map page), as there are a few notations referred to which were cut off the top in the regular TV broadcast version currently used. --Tinman 12:23 9 February 2007 (PDT)
Underline
Why are some of the notations underlined, but not all (or none, preferably) -- LOSTonthisdarnisland 21:34, 18 May 2006 (PDT)
PRD abreviation
The PRD abreviation as Planned Radiation Discharge could have more sense after the season 2 finale
NEW MATERIAL
See this post on TWOP for more about the Blast Door Map as revealed in the Lost jigsaw puzzles. (Seriously!) Jengod 12:52, 18 July 2006 (PDT)
- abc marketing are some seriously inventive guys... that's really cool! --kaini. 13:08, 18 July 2006 (PDT)
- Man i should get me one of those. --Phmall 13:41, 18 July 2006 (PDT)
- can someone try and find some degree of canonicity for these? i can't find any... and it's so cool that it would be great if it was... --kaini. 21:06, 20 July 2006 (PDT)
- On the last disk of the Lost Season 2 DVD set, during one of the special features (I forget which one at the moment), we are shown a complete view of the Map. Is there someone with a DVD player & video cap equipment who could grab an image of this & compare it against these other clues? (I have the first, but not the second.) -- Llywrch 17:39, 1 October 2006 (PDT)
- A screencap of the map from s2 DVD has already been uploaded, I think it's already replaced the old pix on the blast door map page. --Minderbinder 06:27, 2 October 2006 (PDT)
- Now I see it, at the bottom of that page. I guess someone will have to update the transcription on this page. -- Llywrch 13:03, 5 October 2006 (PDT)
