Stephen Semel is one of Lost's film editors, under the auspices of Grass Skirt Productions, LLC. Semel also cameos as a guest star in the Season 3 premiere "A Tale of Two Cities" as Adam.
He was nominated in 2006 for two Emmy awards for "Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series" for the episodes "One of Them" and "Live Together, Die Alone" (nominated along with Sarah Boyd and Sue Blainey). He has been nominated twice for an A.C.E (American Cinematic Editors) award and has won one. Semel appears on the DVD extras for the Lost: The Complete Third Season (DVD) .
Semel joined the DGA as a director in December 2007 [1]. He directed the Season 4 episode "Ji Yeon".
