The Official UK Lost Podcast, previously known as UK Lost when under the control of Channel 4, is the United Kingdom's official podcast for Lost. Following the move of Lost from Channel 4 to Sky One for Season 3, the podcast was also moved and renamed to The Lost Initiative, keeping a similar format and host Iain Lee. Iain Lee is joined every week by Lost: The Official Magazine editor, Paul Terry, and fan favourite, Geeky Tom. They also take phone calls from fans and Lost experts. The Lost Initiative (Sky)

Following the move of Lost from Channel 4 to Sky One in the UK for season 3, Sky decided to continue the podcast under a new name, with the same host and similar format. There are no longer guest panelists on the show other than Paul and Tom, and a segment with callers to the podcast has been added to the lineup. The first Lost Initiative was recorded on Wednesday, November 15th,2006, and released Friday, November 17th, 2006. More information is available here.

The podcast is available via an XML feed, which can be manually added to iTunes.

Anyone interested in being a caller on the show should email lost@skyone.co.uk, leaving your name, what you propose to discuss with the panel, and your telephone number.

  • The podcast is recorded in Central London, just off Oxford Street.
  • UK Lost was an Objective Productions/Crook Productions/Koink production for Channel 4. The Lost Initiative is a Koink production for Sky One. [1]
  • The Lost Initiative is recorded on Friday afternoons between 3PM and 5PM, with the podcast being released during or just after the show has been aired on Sky One. This is due to the broadcast of Lost in the UK being only four days after the US airing.
  • Starting with 'The Shape Of Things To Come podcast, it is introduced by Michael Emerson. He says "This is Benjamin Linus. I'm one of the good guys, you're listening to the Lost Initiative, Sky One's official Lost podcast. Namaste." His voice crackles as if spoken through an intercom.
