The Oceanic Airlines logo looks similiar to an eye.
- The Oceanic logo is very similar to a Nazar amulet, used to ward off the evil eye, and a picture of one also features in the Room 23 Video.[1]
- As Jack is given a golden pass by Oceanic before April 2007 [Through the Looking Glass] they are fully aware that there are some survivors from flight 815. Jack was also making extensive use of the pass before April 2007, so their temporary closure as stated in the press release of 28th December 2007, must have occurred during this time period. Outside of the blue there are about 15 circles. Upon closer inspection the circles appear like miniature hurricanes. A clue perhaps? Petrarch1603 22:13, 18 May 2008 (PDT)
- There is always a mention of "lying" and hiding some truth that the Oceanic 6 are bound to.
The Oceanic Airlines logo looks like the island itself. The O is blue, like water and it surrounds the colors like an island. Conspiracy Widmore Group
- Oceanic went out of business following the disappearance of Flight 815, it is possible that Widmore Industries (or one of its other interests) purchased oceanic or helped get the airline started again. Possibly to aid the cover up of the crash/island etc... or as some part of a bigger plot that we haven't seen yet.
- This Would explain Mathew Abbadon telling Hurley that he represented Oceanic but was also the person recruiting Naomi and the Crew for the Freighter mission to find the Island and Ben which was organized by Charles Widmore.
- If it was Widmore that staged the fake wreckage of 815, owning or being a part of oceanic would give him easy access to another identical plane to use as the fake 815.
