Major occurences

Season One

• Oceanic Flight 815 crashes on an island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. ("Pilot, Part 1")
• Joanna drowns in the ocean, and Boone nearly drowns attempting to save her. ("House of the Rising Sun")
• Sayid finds a cable leading from the ocean to the jungle. ("Solitary")
• Ethan comes from the ocean and kills Scott. ("Outlaws")

Season Two

• Michael and Sawyer are stranded in the water, and are almost killed by a shark before washing ashore. ("Adrift")
