Missions

Anything anyone on the island does with a objective is counted as a mission. There are 4 main groups, the A-Team, the B-Team, the O-Team and the F-Team. The A-Team is the main surivors, the B-Team is a team of more secondry survivors, the O-Team is a team on the others and the F-Team is a team from the freighter.

A-Missions

"A-Missions" is a term for any mission in which the 'A-Team' are involed while on the island. It also has to help the surivors on a whole and can't be a personal misson.

A-Team

Picture Name Status Role Overview
Kate Alive Semi-leader Kate has been on the most A-Team missions, but not as leader. Jack, Locke or even Sayid normally takes on this role.
Jack Alive Leader, doctor Jack is the leader of the losties, or at least half of them at the moment. He also takes the leadership role on every mission he goes on and this sometimes makes him clash with Locke.
Locke Alive Hunter, Leader Locke is a bit like the black sheep of the losties. He goes on quite a few missions though, and in season three starts going on a lot more when leader Jack is gone. But he also spends a lot of time by himself.
Sayid Alive Technical things Sayid is a very active member of the A-Team, he is always working on something. He can also lead a team, but normally it is a team of B-Members, not A-Members. He has a lot of technological knowledge.
Sawyer Alive Semi-leader Sawyer goes on missions when he wants to. He doesn't do it to help the camp like the rest of the A-Team. He also never leads the A-Team. He is though a valuable member as he will kill if he needs to, but he does clash with Jack over Kate.

For indiual mission summeries see A-Missions

B-Missions

"B-Missions" is a term for any mission that is for the good of the survivors, a mission where a major discovery on the island is made, or any mission undertaken by the "B-Team", a group of survivors often involved on missions with the so-called "A-Team" and their "A-Missions". The term can also be extended to describe less important or personal missions undertaken by "A-Team" members.

As he continues following Kelvin, eventually they arrive at a cove. There, Des sees his sailboat, good as new, at which point Kelvin announces he was aware of Desmond's presence, as he was a spook for 10 years. Desmond confronts Kelvin and becomes increasingly emotional, while Kelvin resignedly admits he had been going outside to repair Desmond's boat to leave the Island: "Screw the button, man. Who knows if it's even real."
