Locke stares at the Blast door map, a huge hand-drawn diagram of the positions of DHARMA Initiative stations on the island. According to Kelvin Inman, it was started by a man named Radzinsky, and illustrates at least two types of notations. First are printed notes in English, which are very factual and seem informed, whilst second is Latin in a cursive hand, more observational and speculative, even philosophical. The article devoted to this map attempts to translate the notations, as well as interpret the geography and illustrated locations.
