The All Article Clean Up if approved, would be multiple Article Attacks on all articles tagged for clean up, stub or rewrite. This would take place before a new season premiere and after a season finale or season hiatus.

Benefits

The AACU could boost Lostpedia's traffic and help with the wiki's general cleanliness. Lostpedia receives a boost in traffic during the "on-season" but loses traffic during the "off-season". During the "off-season", many users leave Lostpedia (at least until the return of Lost), there is somewhat of a slump in editing and many times things don't get done. Tags are often left on articles for weeks or even months at a time, some even ignored until the return of the show. If the AACU goes into effect, most of the wiki would be cleaned up before a new season's premier, and the traffic boost sure to follow. Getting return visitors to the website is important, and having a wiki ready and in shape for new visitors is key. During the "on-season", Lostpedia is very active. However, with Lost back on the air, an increase in vandalism and general "bad writing" is also increased. By season's end, many articles may be out of shape. If the AACU is put into action, immediately following the finale (or hiatus-bringing episode) the wiki would be once again cleaned. This will prepare it for the long months of inactivity it may endure.

Long Term Effects

Until Lost end date (circa 2010), this process would continue. Gradually cleaning Lostpedia more and more. After so many AACUs, they may become obsolete and no longer needed due to the lack of articles needing cleaning.
