Charlie

• Lewis was able to see Charlie in The Beginning of the End because he was also part of Hurley's imagination.
• Lewis was not a hallucination, because the nurse gave him meds in The Beginning of the End.
• Lewis had a simple hallucination (unrelated to any events of the main plot) of a random man staring at Hurley. When he told Hurley that there was a man staring at him, it convinced Hurley that indeed someone was there, and that it was Charlie, by causing him to hallucinate and see something that wasn't there.
• Charlie was a manifestation of the monster and was also visible to Lewis.
• Lewis has been on the island before, and that is why he is in Santa Rosa and can see Charlie.
