Keamy's device is an object that Omar straps to Keamy's arm after returning to the freighter. The device's purpose is unknown. It consists of a strap around the waist with a raised section in the middle, as well as a square object with what appears to be a pulse/heartbeat reading and a dial and buttons.
When Captain Gault confronts Keamy at gunpoint as he attempts to return to the island, Keamy shows Gault the device and says it would not be a good idea to shoot. As Gault is distracted, Keamy shoots him.
