Joshua Tree National Park is believed by some to be a mystical energy healing spot not unlike Uluru in Australia. Perhaps the Island is one too?
The clues mentioned in the podcast could very well relate to more invisible writing á la the blast door map by either Radzinsky or Kelvin.
The Joshua Tree is closely associated with the notion of Karma, particularly with the area of the inherited karma of previous generations, displayed perhaps in the recurring theme of Parent issues throughout the show.
The Joshua Tree is also closely associated with the Moon, which itself is associated with fertility, pregnancies and childbirth.
