Ishmael Bakir (Arabic:إشماعيل باكر) apparently worked for Charles Widmore, but it is unknown in what capacity.
He is first seen by Ben in 2005, watching Nadia's funeral procession. Ben convinces Sayid that he is responsible for Nadia's murder by showing him a photo taken at a traffic light in Los Angeles a few blocks from where Nadia's body was found. Later, Bakir takes Ben aside at gunpoint. Before Ben can tell him the message he wants to give Charles Widmore, Sayid shoots him several times in retribution for Nadia's death, pulling the trigger even after the gun has run out of bullets.
